SNOWPIERCER: AMC Reveals Teaser Trailer for Final Season

AMC Networks has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming final season of SNOWPIERCER. (Season 4 bows Sunday, July 21 at 9/8c.)

In the premiere, ccording to AMC, “Nine months after Snowpiercer and Big Alice parted ways, Till and Ben encounter unforeseen enemies when Melanie sends them off the train on a reconnaissance mission. Meanwhile, the residents of New Eden face uncertain times and unknown adversaries, compelling them to further confront the complexities of their new reality.”

The series—which  is based on the graphic novel series by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, plus the film by the same name—has had an extremely winding journey, spending years in development and then finally launching on TNT in 2020 and airing there for three seasons. This fourth season was ordered back in 2021…with TNT deciding in 2023 it would not actually air the season; AMC stepped in to pick up the final season this past March.

The show stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Sam Otto, Chelsea Harris, Mike O’Malley, Roberto Urbina, and Sheila Vand. New cast members include Clark Gregg and Michael Aronov.

SNOWPIERCER is executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, Christoph Schrewe; Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Alissa Bachner through Tomorrow Studios; Matthew O’Connor, Ben Rosenblatt and Scott Derrickson, along with the original film’s producers Bong Joon Ho, Miky Lee, Jinnie Choi, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun and Dooho Choi. The show is produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) along with CJ Entertainment. ITV Studios distributes Snowpiercer internationally.
