Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

NAME THAT TUNE: Wow, that first game was great; Jason was so good, too, and it’s a shame he didn’t make it to the final round.

I was a bit wary about game 2 after both contestants really struggled in Bid a Note…but holy moly, Calvin killed it in the final round. $123,000 is a great win for this show.

THE 1% CLUB: I cannot believe how many people got the question about astronauts walking on a planet wrong. I know the phrasing is tricky, and it’s intended to be, but I thought that question would be way earlier in the game.

Speaking of: I also cannot believe none of the finalists got that final question right. I know several said they got it a second later, but none of them could figure out the missing word was sight?! Wow. (Yes, I got it right, but I also know I wasn’t competing for $97,000, so the pressure was a little different.)
