Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Look, some of the theatrics were over the top, but this group of coaches was largely fun. (Would I have killed to see Kelly Clarkson with Reba and Snoop? Absolutely. Alas.)

What really intrigues me is this replay button and how it’ll be utilized. We know the coaches can only use it once, but what is going to move the other coaches to play it? Will it be hearing a certain story? If they see people don’t look the way they expect?

There were also a number of really great performers, too. Though it’s very funny Gwen blocked Reba and lost the artist….and then Snoop blocked Michael…and he also lost the artist. We’re at 0/2 so far. (But, in case there was any doubt, don’t try to one-up Reba….the fact she got down there and did push-ups? Queen.)

BRILLIANT MINDS: A strong ensemble, great guest cast. What intrigues me most after the first episode is what Wolf’s dynamic with his mom will be…and how it will spill out with his colleagues.
