Fire Country season 3 premiere spoilers

“What the Bride Said” – In the midst of Gabriela and Diego’s wedding, a helicopter crash ignites chaos and the team immediately jumps into action to stop fires and help victims, on the third season premiere of FIRE COUNTRY, Friday, Oct. 18 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+. FIRE COUNTRY season 2 ended with a big cliffhanger: Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) and Diego (Rafael de la Fuente) were at the altar, on the verge of getting married.

When season 3 kicks off on Friday, October 18 (at 9/8c), “given how heightened our finale was, emotionally, and where we left everybody, we thought, ‘Well, why don’t we drive the disaster right into that church and make everything a lot worse?’” showrunner Tia Napolitano jokes to Give Me My Remote.

In “What the Bride Said,” a nearby helicopter crash causes absolute mayhem for everyone—including everyone at the church, who opts to go help. “It’s a direct pickup, so everyone will get the answers that they want right away,” Napolitano teases. “There’s a lot of red meat [in the episode]. We don’t leave anybody hanging. We’re not jumping any time. So I think it’s just going to feel really satisfying on the action level and the character level every minute of the show.”

Plus, as the showrunner teased to GMMR when season 2 concluded: “We don’t know how it ended, which is very intentional. We’ll get all of our answers in season 3. I think those answers will surprise you. And it’s only going to get more complicated and messy as we keep going.”
