LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT vet Mike Doyle is guest-starring on the Thursday, October 31 episode of LAW & ORDER.

Doyle, who played forensic tech Ryan O’Halloran for more than 50 episodes on SVU before his character’s 2009 death, is on the other side of the investigation in L&O’s “Report Card”: After his husband’s murder, he gets questioned by detectives Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) and Riley (Reid Scott).

In a first look at the episode below, Shaw and Riley try to talk to the grieving widow to get a feel for their victim, Walter, and the circumstances around his death…and discover a potentially important clue.

Watch the scene below!

According to NBC’s official tease for the hour, “A student is accused of killing his teacher. When the suspect’s age puts the case in limbo, Price and Maroun put the school’s policies on trial. Shaw’s attempts to connect with the suspect backfire.”

Doyle’s TV credits also include NEW AMSTERDAM, CITY ON A HILL, and A GIFTED MAN.

LAW & ORDER, Thursdays, 8/7c, NBC
