Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

ST. DENIS MEDICAL: Well, I will absolutely always be here for any/all SUPERSTORE reunions, please and thanks. I also appreciated that while we got it, they didn’t seemingly force Nico Santos and Kaliko Kauahi into a story together just because of their connection. (Loved the bits we got, though.) And poor Alex on, like, every level.

(Okay, fine, Santos’ Rene being stuck in a breakroom meeting reminded me of SUPERSTORE and made my heart happy.)

Dr. Ron was also very correct and very wrong. Serena’s parking job was terrible and irresponsible. But the passive-aggressive note…was a choice.

It’s interesting that we got multiple acknowledgments of the documentary crew in this episode, though.

NIGHT COURT: Look, as soon as Dan and Jake started really getting along, I figured they weren’t going to be related, but I’m unexpectedly sad for them. Oh well.

THE VOICE: Wow, wow, wow to Sofronio Vasquez. Wow.

Performance-wise, I do understand not picking Sloane Simon this week, but she lost the show right after she lost her father?! Ouch.

THE IRRATIONAL: I know the promo spoiled it, but Alec stepping in front of the train was crazy. Also, this was definitely an instance where the (eventual) twist was obvious: Nick Gonzalez was too big a name/familiar a face to have as little to do as he did prior to the reveal.

Not important, but: That fry plate the RA trio was sharing looked delicious. I’m really excited to see them working together going forward.
