Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: While it feels like there are a couple of obvious frontrunners, it also feels like almost every single Top 8 contestant can make a real case for making it to next week’s finale.

But, man, this compressed season really is a bummer, especially since so many of the contestants are wickedly talented. I wish we had a week or two more of live shows so they could battle as individuals.

It’s also wild they had to deal with duets and have those performances include freaking STING for their first live shows. It was a good episode! It just felt like a lot and I miss the days when there was a bit more breathing room for the standouts to really have their star moments.

PRESS YOUR LUCK: After this many years, how and why do people do the “one last spin” thing?! It almost never ends well!! (Poor Amy. It very much may have cost her the game.)

But oh my God, Ains. A Diet Coke soda fountain?!?! The DREAM. Good for her for being smart enough to walk away with zero Whammies and the dream car and soda fountain. This isn’t an episode they could have shifted around if things got depressing/bad, so I’m glad the holiday one-off had a happy ending.
