ABC Renews ABBOTT ELEMENTARY

ABC has handed an early renewal to ABBOTT ELEMENTARY for season 5.

The series was created by Quinta Brunson, who executive produces it along with Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, Randall Einhorn, and Brian Rubenstein.

The series stars Brunson as Janine Teagues, Tyler James Williams as Gregory Eddie, Janelle James as Ava Coleman, Chris Perfetti as Jacob Hill, Lisa Ann Walter as Melissa Schemmenti, William Stanford Davis as Mr. Johnson and Emmy® Award winner Sheryl Lee Ralph as Barbara Howard.

The comedy airs Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c.
