ENTOURAGE to End in Summer 2011
August 8, 2010 by Korbi Ghosh
The HBO summer comedy — following film star Vince, his brother Johnny, his boys E and Turtle and his super agent Ari Gold — will come to an end next year.
The series, which bowed in 2004, is currently airing its 7th season and will close up shop with a shortened 8th season in 2011, HBO president Michael Lombardo announced at the Television Critics Press Tour this weekend.
The possibility of an ENTOURAGE movie is still on the table, though there are no concrete plans as of yet.
So, thoughts?
Sad to see it go (though it should’ve probably ended a couple years ago)?
Would you buy a ticket to see the boys on the big screen?

Should have been over years ago…I stopped watching after season 2.
Its well past the expire-by date, though this season is better than the last two (by far). A movie? No way, this isn’t Sex and the City (speaking of movies I’ll never, ever see). About the one thing this series really needs is a nude scene for Sloan.
I’ll be sad. I think it’s funny as crap. And I would definitely go buy a ticket to watch the boys.
