The Big Bang Theory | 8pm on CBS
“The Friendship Contraction”
Sheldon’s selfish demands force Leonard to reconsider their friendship. Meanwhile, Wolowitz tries to pick his astronaut nickname.
30 Rock | 8pm on NBC
“Today You Are a Man”
Liz and Jack grapple over her contract negotiations. Meanwhile, Kenneth feels snubbed by his “TGS” colleagues and seeks a new page assignment, and Tracy and Jenna sign on as the entertainment at a Bar Mitzvah for their accountant’s son.
American Idol | 8pm on Fox
“Auditions #7”
The auditions continue on AMERICAN IDOL as the judges resume their search to find the next singing superstar.
Winter Wipeout | 8pm on ABC
“Shoulda SAW That Coming”
Twenty four competitors all have one goal in common to be the last player standing at the end of the Winter Wipeout Zone to take home a cool $50,000. Before they can do so, players must first face the Buzz Saw, which greets contestants head on, leaving them feeling the winter black and blues. Then they’ll take on the world famous Big Balls – and can earn an extra $500 if they can clutch the Snowman perched atop the fourth Big Ball – followed by the Snow Fall, where there’s a little bit of snow but a whole lot of fall. From there, players have an all-access pass to The Penguin Party, where they get to shake it up and get smacked down till they drop!
The Vampire Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“Bringing Out the Dead”
Sheriff Forbes delivers some disturbing news to Alaric and Elena about the weapon used in a recent murder. In the Salvatore brothers’ escalating quest to kill Klaus, Stefan turns to Bonnie and Abby, while Damon reaches out to an old acquaintance for help in setting up an elaborate plan. Intent on a plan of his own, Klaus hosts a strange dinner party, where he reveals another story from his family’s violent past until an unexpected guest brings the party to an end. Meanwhile, Caroline is heartbroken when she is unable to stop a tragedy from unfolding.
Rob | 8:30pm on CBS
“Family Secrets”
Rob becomes obsessed with finding out about Maggie’s past, even enlisting Hector to help him snoop around. Meanwhile, Rosa and Fernando stop speaking to each other after their biggest fight gets brought up.
Parks and Recreation | 8:30pm on NBC
“Operation Ann”
It’s Valentine’s Day and Leslie decides she needs to find Ann a new man. Ben must enlist Ron’s help when he is stumped by Leslie’s elaborate Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt, and Chris is depressed about the status of his love life.

After Jim returns from jury duty, Dwight questions him on every detail of his case. Meanwhile, Angela and the senator (guest star Jack Coleman) welcome their new baby.

“Swing and a Miss”
Isabel’s new boyfriend Frank (guest star Lance Gross), an all-star baseball athlete, gets robbed, and Walter steps in to help find his stolen collectibles. But in the process, Walter learns Frank has lost something more meaningful than memorabilia. Then, to earn Willa’s trust, Leo and Walter bring her in on the case.
Grey’s Anatomy | 9pm on ABC
“If/Then”
As Meredith puts Zola to bed and falls asleep, she begins to wonder – what if her mother had never had Alzheimer’s and she’d had loving, supportive parents? The reverberations of a happy Meredith Grey change the world of Seattle Grace as we know it. What if she had never met Derek in that bar and he had never separated from Addison? Cassie enlists the Circle’s help when she receives a frightening warning about the witch hunters’ return. Meanwhile, Faye and Melissa take their inner power to a chilling new level when they try a little of Lee’s “Devil’s Spirit.”

“Preschool Auction”
Reagan becomes determined to secure a coveted spot for Amy at a prestigious preschool. In an effort to win favor with the admissions office, Reagan volunteers to spearhead the school’s annual fundraiser and enlists Ava to help her run a charity auction. Meanwhile, when Chris’s older brother (guest star Dean Winters) comes to visit, the two Brinkley boys revert to their old competitive childhood ways.

“Red is the New Black”
Jane and the CBI narrow down the list of suspects after a disgraced clothing designer on the verge of a comeback becomes a fashion victim. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Darcy continues her investigation into finding Red John.
The Firm | 10pm on NBC
“Chapter Six”
Mitch is blindsided when a Judge’s offer of leniency for his client is revealed to have ulterior motives. A clever Claire tries to convince her parents that she needs a cell phone to fit in, but when her parents disagree, she devises a new plan that scares Abby to the core. Meanwhile, Tammy and Ray continue piecing together what little clues they have on the Sarah Holt case, hoping to help Mitch get some answers.

“The Time Has Come”
Sheldon counsels Sam’s friend, Rick, an Army veteran suffering from PTSD who harbors a secreted sexual trauma; Erica and Mason are involved in a nonfatal car accident that forces Cooper and Charlotte to further come to grips with their future; Violet and Pete struggle to navigate life after marriage when he finds her kissing Scott; and Addison and Jack attend a medical conference they won’t soon forget.
