DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23 Stages a DAWSON’S CREEK Reunion

It’s official: DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23 is hosting a DAWSON’S CREEK reunion.

While much of the talk about potential guest stars for a reunion on the ABC comedy had focused around Joshua Jackson (who professed a desire to appear on the series) or Michelle Williams, it is actually Busy Philipps (Audrey on WB series and currently Laurie on COUGAR TOWN) who is the first former CREEKer to sign on to APARTMENT 23, ABC confirms. (TVGuide.com was first to report the casting.)

When I spoke with DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23 creator Nahnatchka Khan last month, she shared that a potential DAWSON’S CREEK reunion would be brought up in the second season premiere of her series since James Van Der Beek plays a fictionalized version of himself on the comedy.

“Because for some reason the whole DAWSON’S reunion [story] is in the air, we’re definitely going to address it in our show, in our season premiere,” she told me. “Where James is like, ‘Why is everybody always asking about it?’”

Well, now perhaps Philipps will have an answer for him!
