John Barrowman Joins ARROW

In case you needed a little bit more nerd cred for The CW’s upcoming series, ARROW, it just got another major boost — the network has confirmed that TORCHWOOD’s John Barrowman has been cast in a recurring role.

But as for what character Barrowman will be playing in the series, your guess is as a good as mine. According to EW.com (who was first to report the news), the details are scarce beyond him being a “well-dressed man” who is “as mysterious as he is wealthy … he is an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City.”

I’m not particularly familiar with the Green Arrow mythology, so does anyone have a good comic-related theory as to an established character he might be playing? Either way, I’m just excited we’re getting more Barrowman on our television screens!
