TNT Cancels LEVERAGE
December 21, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
When I spoke with LEVERAGE executive producer Dean Devlin a few weeks ago, he spoke about crafting next week’s season finale as also a potential series finale since its fate on TNT was up in the air. And now, there’s some not great news.
“It has been decided today that this Tuesday’s episode of Leverage ‘The Long Goodbye Job’ will be the series finale as TNT has decided not to renew the show for a sixth season,” Devlin wrote in a letter that was posted on leveragefans.com. “I’m so happy we were able to film the series finale we had always envisioned and I’m happy we’re able to present it on Christmas as our gift to you. It’s a bittersweet goodbye.”
Are you bummed out that LEVERAGE won’t continue? Or are you at least pleased it’ll end with the series finale they always planned?

I’m not sure I buy the sincerity aspect of Devlins note. After all what is he supposed to say? I feel awful, tnt screwed us, we had all these great ideas envisioned? To be honest it sounds like politico talk. The way politicians can take anything and make it sound like a pony for Christmas.
So long Leverage……….enjoyed ya.
It’s really hard to believe that you would cancel a show like Leverage yet bring Falling Skies back. Will have to look somewhere else for a good show like this one.Bad call on your part.
