A Gilmore Boy Under the Friday Night Lights

Matt Czuchry, best known as Rory’s rich boy love on the dearly departed GILMORE GIRLS, will be showing up in Dillon, Texas as a devout Christian later this season on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. Word is that he’ll be around for at least a three episode arc. I’m hoping there will be a little lovey dovey with Lyla Garrity…as long as she stays away from Riggins it’s fine by me.

Oh happy day!
I don’t think I realized how much I was going to miss Mr. Logan Huntzberger…this helps soften the blow of GG being gone for good…now if only Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham would show up in more places!
That’s great news! Anything that might attract some more viewers is great (as long as quality doesn’t suffer of course) and I think this may pull in some GG fans that haven’t checked FNL out yet. Plus, I’m not feeling the Lyla-and-the-prisoner angle, so if he’s her new love interest, I’m all for it. Thanks for the news – and as Jenna Fischer put it so well in her blog: End the strike for Riggins!!!!!!
I might actually start watching that show just to see him play a devout Christian. Talk about a switcheroo. 😉
