COSMOS: Ann Druyan on the Challenges of Writing the Series

Over 13 episodes, COSMOS will dive into a lot of history about how we came to know what we know about our universe (and beyond), but, understandably, it’s a lot of information to try and relay in a short amount of time. Plus, there’s also the fact that it should be entertaining as well as educational.
To figure out how the show achieved that balance, I spoke with COSMOS co-writer Ann Druyan (who also co-wrote the original 1980 special)…
