In what was a rather shocking episode, another contestant went home on AMERICAN IDOL tonight. Shocking because it was Jason Castro and not Kristy Lee Cook joining Syesha Mercado and Chikeze in the bottom three tonight. Seriously, Jason Cook? I think last night’s critique was the fire that Jason needed to put himself back in this competition. But really, Kristy Lee Cook got more votes? Color me shocked.
So with Jason, Syesha and Chikeze on the block someone had to go. And that person was….
Chikeze!!
Whew…at least my girl Syesha lives to sing another week.

I knew either Kristy of Chikeze was going home, so I saw it coming. I just feel bad for Chikeze because I liked him a lot more than what’s her face? Um…who’s voting for that girl? I haven’t met anyone who has. Is “Vote for the Worse” rooting for her or something? I’m so confused…
I liked Chikeze a lot. I thought he was a good singer and a nice guy. Still, out of those three he’s definitely the one I would choose to go home.
I agree with you 100%!! I cannot believe my boy, Jason Castro was in the bottom 3 but I have to admit it was a boring song that he sang. I think this was EXACTLY what he needed though to get him going. He’s extremely laid back but I still sense a competitive side in him.
I was a little shocked Chikeze went home. The reason Syesha was in the bottom three – that baby cry!! She’s gotta stop doing that – it too freaky! Plus, she talks about herself in third person – too diva.
I predict that Kristy Lee will go next week!
