A Veronica Mars Reunion…Francis Capra Joins HEROES

VERONICA MARS favorite bad boy (no, not Logan Echolls…the other bad boy – Weevil) is joining HEROES. According to TV Guide, Francis Capra who is best known for his role as Eli ‘Weevil’ Navarro on the dearly departed VERONICA MARS will be joining the NBC series as an one of those pesky evil doers. The show is keeping tight lipped on details about that character but we do know that his name is Jesse and he will cross paths with Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia).
It’s no secret that the cast and the writers of HEROES were big fans of VM. I think we’ll see Jesse and Elle (Kristen Bell) share at least a few on-screen moments together. I don’t think they (or we) will be able to resist.
Now I know what you’re thinking. MOONLIGHT is over so why not throw Jason Dohring into the mix? That boy knows how to play evil. But I think it’s a little too weird. I’m all for having Jason back on my TV every week, but it’s just too soon for him to star along side Kristen Bell. Someday though…someday.

Woohoo, Weevil!!! He’s one of my favorite VM characters (well, I love them all, but Weevil rocks!). I love Heroes, and am always amazed by the incredible talent they get.
Curse you Heroes and your uneven pacing! I was all prepared to write this season off and now this? I’ll have to watch. You can’t say no to Weevil. Maybe in the meantime, they’ll hire some of VM’s writers too.
I am excited! I am almost done with S1 of VM and I am sure I will be more than ready for some Weevil by the time Heroes comes back in what 2010?
The most exiting news I’ve heard in a while I love Francis Capra and Kristen Bell as well as Veronica Mars and Heroes. I’m soooooo happy!!! I’m so looking forward to this season of Heroes 🙂
When does last season come out on dvd? I need to catch up since I stopped watching about halfway through. With this new casting development, it’s definitely on my radar again. 🙂
Although let’s face it…if I stopped watching with the already stellar cast it had, will this make a difference? Hm…we’ll see.

Well crap – this means I may actually have to start watching Heroes again. I can’t resist Weevil/Francis.
I agree, it might be too much to throw Jason into “Heroes,” as well. I have heard some people throw his name out to play Ryan on “Brothers & Sisters,” and oddly enough, that was the first name that came to my mind too.
i think francis capra should be in heroes because heroes is a great tv show and francis is a great acter love veronica mars tv show love heroes so yeah glad kristen bell and francis capra are in heroes oxoxox
