RED BAND SOCIETY: Octavia Spencer on Getting to Sing as Nurse Jackson

In the last RED BAND SOCIETY, viewers learned a whole lot about Nurse Jackson — not only was she a former background singer, but her first intro to Ocean Park Hospital was due to Nurse Jackson’s sick sister. And with Nurse Jackson suspended from the hospital, Kenji and Nurse Brittany went to visit their old friend, and Kenji basically dared her to sing again. Naturally, she took him up on it…and kicked some major butt while doing it.

On the show’s Atlanta set, RED BAND SOCIETY Octavia Spencer spoke with reporters about having to sing for the series…
