GMMR in USA Weekend!
September 14, 2008 by Kath Skerry
I know it’s a bit weak to jump and down and say ‘look at me! look at me!’ so please forgive me in advance for this post. But I wanted to let you all know that if you check out this week’s edition of USA WEEKEND magazine you’ll get my two cents on my favorite returning TV shows of the Fall.
E!’s Kristin Dos interviewed me as well as other fellow TV bloggers Kimra McPherson of BuzzSugar.com and Jace of TelevisionaryBlog.com for the piece that’s on newsstands and in over 600 newspapers throughout the country. How fun is that?
We bloggers certainly share a similar love for one particular show…any guesses?
So check out the article here: Fall TV: Who’s Got the Buzz or is USA Weekend magazine.
What shows are YOU most looking forward to returning this Fall?

Congrats, K! That’s awesome.
Wow, that’s so awesome! Congrats!
I LOVE IT! Congratulations!
Way cool, am running to go find my copy now. You are so famous!
Congratulations. You are becoming one of America’s taste makers.
Yay! Congratulations, Kath. (I’m guessing it was “The Office.”)
As I was sleepily thumbing through the magazine this morning, I was like “Wait, I ‘know’ her!”
Congrats, Kath! 🙂
Saturday am, I open up my USA Weekend and see Anderson Cooper and Kathie from GMMR? What a great way to start my weekend! Congrats, Kath!
Yeah Kathy! This is a great website so the recognition must have been nice. 🙂
Congrats on the awesome shout out. Too bad I can’t pick up a USA Today up here in the great white north.
That is such a great accomplishment…USA Today!! Congratulations!
Pretty awesome. And of course the choices were spot on for what we should all be watching.
loved your input in the article…and of course I agreed with everything you guys said
Congrats, Kath! Are you having that article framed? I totally would. 😀
Thank you all for your kind words. So sweet. Love you guys!
A pleasure to be quoted with you! Woohoo!
I almost shouted out “Hey, I know the person in this article!” when I read this. 😉 Great job, Kath – that was so cool and of course your comments on the shows to watch were definitely spot on!
Way to go! Of course Kristin would interview you. You KNOW!
I’ll answer the question you posted now since nobody else did…..
I’m looking forward, of course, to The Office, but also the shows that my husband and I are really into are Eli Stone, NCIS, and Life (I hope NBC supports that show..it’s really good). Oh, and Chuck, can’t forget our Intersect goofball! I am a t.v. addict so there’s about 20 more shows that I have to watch.
Kath will appreciate that I like Dancing With the Stars (basically any dance show as long as it’s not on Disney Channel or MTV) and we all celebrate that Maks is back this season! I will be the authority on that show if you need to know anything. lol
I still watch Survivor, although I skipped China since John Robert Belland is the most annoying poker player on t.v. and I wasn’t going to waste 60 minutes watching his fat ass. Last season (fans vs faves) was one of the top three seasons and I look forward to it coming back.
I could go on and on. I already have. Sorry!
Loved it! I too sat up and said, “Hey I know her!” even though I really don’t. Of course, if you’re in Hingham and I see you I’ll pretend I do. It seems like yesterday that we were in the WWK chats, and you were talking about your website…and now you’re taking on the world! Congrats!
Now that I’m done kissing your a**, I have to admit that I’m still not caught up on last season! I have a stack of tapes from my faux-vo to still watch. But when I saw the first commercial for Pushing Daisies, I screamed at my tv “I can’t wait until October” and my 11 year old said “Isn’t that the show you like?”. Even took some pics of the double decker bus/rolling ad in NYC with had Pushing Daisies on it. So I guess you could say I’m looking forward to it, now if we could get more people to watch! But the article with the endorsements from you guys might have helped.
I’m also looking forward to Eli Stone. When I saw George Michael at the Gahden this summer, I kept thinking about how much I wanted him back on Eli. Plus I love when Spy Daddy sings. And HIMYM. NPH rocks.
The TV strike seems to have had a similar effect on me that the hockey strike had…I’m glad the new season is starting, but not as enthused as I used to be. And with the Sox headed to the post season (I know, the magic number hasn’t been met, but we will) I feel like my faux-vo will keep getting a workout.
