I watch Samantha Who. It’s a funny show. The relationship between Samantha and her mom (Jean Smart) is one of the strongest parts of the show. It’s so dysfunctional but you can tell they really love each other. Sookie from Gilmore Girls also stars in it, and she is hilarious. The only week link for me is Jennifer Espinito (sp?) who plays Andrea. They are trying to make her sassy and sarcastic, but most of the time she just comes across as a mean old unlikable bitch.

Oh John, I’m sick on your birthday? How can we celebrate in style if I’ve got a snotty nose?

Obviously, the cold medicine is making me delusional.

Anyways, my plans for the night are trying to remain awake, and watching CBS comedies. But mostly that awake thing.

Samantha Who? is one of the funniest shows on right now. It really gives Christina Applegate the opportunity to showcase her comedic talents as an actress. It’s a good mix between “can that even happen in real life?” and “wow I could totally see that happening to me”. Not to mention it brings Barry Watson back onto my TV! Such an understated beauty that man is, and funny as well. So, what has two thumbs and loves Samantha Who? This guy!

I really like Samantha Who?. In fact, I may even love it….not in the same way that I love The Office or Chuck…but in a cute little way, the way this show deserves. As Jana said, it is a good mix of the believable and unbelievable. Samantha often finds herself in some madcap scheme as she tries to re-establish things about her old life, but the nice thing is that it doesn’t always end in a perfect way. I appreciate that, while also enjoying the fun of it. I have a new appreciation for Christina Applegate, not only as an actress, but as a woman, b/c of the way she has dealt with her recent breast cancer diagnosis. I think this show is great for her and I think she is great in it.

Just jumping on the “Samantha Who?” train… I didn’t start watching last year because I had too many shows & told myself I wouldn’t start anything new. Well, I’ve kicked some off my list to make room for this show after I saw commercials I really liked & realized I’ve always liked Christina Applegate, haha. So, I’m almost done with the 1st season on DVD to catch up & I’ve been saving this season’s episodes on my DVR…. I’ve been laughing out loud throughout all the episodes…I really enjoy this show!

Samantha Who? is a well-written, funny show! They don’t try too hard like they seem to on other comedies. Everyone has a proper place on the show and no character seems to be forced down our throats. The hoochie that was the very brief Mrs. Bradley Cooper is even tolerable. That kind of character can get grating and annoying, but she is generally in small doses, so it’s all good.

Jean Smart and Christina Applegate are really great on this show! I catch it online, so it’s not “edge-of-your-seat” tv, but I have seen every episode! I usually laugh out loud at least once when I watch this show, which is very rare these days.

I love Samantha Who. It’s such a cute, funny, light show. Due to DVR space, I now have to watch it online. But it’s definitely a must-see for me. And a good show to watch a couple times over. They really fixed Jennifer Esposito’s character Andrea over the summer and she’s not as grating as before. Well, I always liked her but sometimes it was a little too over-the-top a bit sometimes but last week she was great and I loved her interaction with Todd. Love Melissa (Deena/Sookie St. James) so I’m glad the show is working out for her. Too bad Scott Patterson’s show didn’t survive last season. I like my Gilmore Girls friends doing well and finding other places to see them.

And of course Christina Applegate is amazing. And Jean Smart too! Fantastic comedic team.
