ELEMENTARY: John Noble Joins as a Series Regular
June 3, 2015 by Marisa Roffman
John Noble has joined ELEMENTARY as a series regular, CBS announced.
Per the network, Noble will play Holmes’ estranged father and in the season 4 premiere, “Mr. Holmes arrives in New York City to deal with the aftermath of his son’s recent relapse.”
“We could not be more delighted to have John Noble taking on such an important role,” said ELEMENTARY creator Robert Doherty in a statement. “We’ve enjoyed his work for many years now – especially his tremendous run on ‘Fringe’ – and cannot wait to see him opposite Jonny and Lucy. It’s going to be an exciting season.”
Aside from Noble’s (brilliant and underrated) turn on FRINGE, he most recently appeared as a series regular on SLEEPY HOLLOW as Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Katrina’s (Katia Winter) son, where (spoiler alert!) his character, Henry, was killed off in the penultimate hour. (Noble also appeared in the series/season finale of FOREVER.)
