THE ROMANOFFS: Amazon Sets October Premiere, Announces a Gaggle of Guest Stars

THE ROMANOFFS—a new anthology series from MAD MEN creator Matthew Weiner—will bow on Friday, October 12, Amazon announced during its Television Critics Association session.
Per Amazon, the series is a “contemporary anthology series, set around the globe, featuring eight separate stories about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family.”
Additionally, Noah Wyle, Kathryn Hahn, Kerry Bishé, Jay R. Ferguson, Ben Miles, Mary Kay Place, Griffin Dunne, Cara Buono, Ron Livingston, Jon Tenney, Clea DuVall, Radha Mitchell, Hugh Skinner, Juan Pablo Castañeda, Emily Rudd, Adèle Anderson, Annet Mahendru, Louise Bourgoin, Hera Hilmar, and Inès Melab have joined as guest stars in the series. They join previously announced participants Isabelle Huppert, Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Diane Lane, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Amanda Peet, Jack Huston, Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells, Mike Doyle, JJ Field, Janet Montgomery, and Paul Reiser.
