WILL & GRACE: David Schwimmer to Recur
August 8, 2018 by Marisa Roffman
David Schwimmer is returning to NBC’s Thursday night lineup—at least for a bit. The actor, who spent ten seasons on the network’s iconic comedy FRIENDS, has signed on to recur on WILL & GRACE’s second revival year.
Per NBC, Schwimmer will play a new love interest for Grace (Debra Messing). He joins announced season 2 guest stars Alec Baldwin, Mary McCormack, and Chelsea Handler.
Schwimmer, who largely abstained from television acting in the first dozen years post-FRIENDS, has made a splash in recent years on AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE VS. OJ SIMPSON and FEED THE BEAST.
WILL & GRACE, which is already renewed for a third revival season, has found significant success in its second life. In addition to the upcoming second season being increased from 13 episodes to 18, the comedy is also up for five Emmy nominations.
WILL & GRACE, Season Premiere, Thursday, October 4, 9/8c, NBC
