DEXTER and his dark passenger returned to Showtime for the show’s 6th season last night. If trying to keep his life as a serial killer from his family and friends wasn’t enough, now it seems like every time he turns around Dexter has to deal with God. It’s always something.

If you missed last night’s season premiere, or want to catch it again, you’re in luck as Showtime has shared Sunday’s episode with GIVE ME MY REMOTE.com.

Have you always heard great things about DEXTER but have never seen an episode? Now’s your chance. You should definitely give it a shot. I caught up on the first 5 seasons last winter so I’m excited to watch my first live season of DEXTER. What a show! Believe everything you’ve heard.

Watch and let us know what YOU thought of last night’s DEXTER in the comments.

It’s Hammer Time!

The TV Talk Podcast – Fall TV (Part I): GLEE, NEW GIRL, HIMYM, GOSSIP GIRL, RINGER and More…

Comments Off on The TV Talk Podcast – Fall TV (Part I): GLEE, NEW GIRL, HIMYM, GOSSIP GIRL, RINGER and More…

We know that the new Fall TV season has already started. We’ve done our best to try and meet up but it’s taken us a little bit to make schedules work. We’re happy to announce that finally Kath and Dan were able to meet up and discuss all things Fall TV 2011.

Because we talked for over 3.5 hours, we’ve split the podcast into 2 parts. I mean, we love a dramatic Fall TV Event but we don’t know if you need 3.5 hours in one sitting. As Sadie from AWKWARD would say: “You’re Welcome!”

Fall TV Podcast (Part 1)

Highlights:

  • Fall TV Preview – we go through each night of the week, talk about all of the new and returning shows. We stop to discuss any shows that strike our fancy, stay tuned!
  • “Anywhoozle”-gate 2011.
  • We’re always so professional… eating, drinking or crumpling of things never happens during the recording of this podcast!
  • What new fall show do we describe as “Jurassic Park meets GLEE”?
  • We go very in depth over the first two episodes of GLEE as well as give a mildly spoilerific preview of next week’s episode “Asian F” (which we’ve both watched). What keeps us coming back and what makes us almost quit the show week to week? Find out gleeks!
  • What character misstep and plotpoint made Ducky so mad he had to eat a donut during the podcast? Tune in to find out!

Shows covered in Part 1: Fall TV Preview – How I Met Your Mother, Gossip Girl, Terra Nova, The Sing-Off, Hart of Dixie, House, The Playboy Club, Last Man Standing, Glee, New Girl, Raising Hope, Ringer, Parenthood

*Recorded: 9/30/11

GLEE SPOILERS: “Asian F” Teasers

Two words – Mike Chang.

Yes, the man formerly known as “Other Asian” is coming out in a big way in next week’s episode of GLEE. (Oh calm yourself Klaine fans, I didn’t mean coming out in that way.)

I got an early look at next week’s episode of GLEE entitled “Asian F”. I thought I would share a few teasers to hold you over until Tuesday. I feel like I’ve seen so many spoilers out there already that I’m not sure if much of anything I have to say will be new, but I figure it will be for some, right?

As always, a reminder that I’m teasing and not spoiling. Not to say you won’t be spoiled, so stay away if you would rather not know anything…which despite this post I would encourage you all to do. Don’t read any further and just wait to see the ep for yourself on Tuesday.

But for those of you who need a fix, here we go…

GLEE: What I Loved (and Loathed) About “I Am Unicorn”

September 27, 2011 by

[Warning! The following contains spoilers for the latest episode of GLEE. If you haven’t watch, you might want to stop reading.]

Political scandals. Relationships on the rocks. Baby mama drama. Unicorns.

Just another week at McKinley High.

You could read 20 different recaps or reviews of tonight’s episode of GLEE and you probably won’t find two people that saw the show in exactly the same way. Ah, the beauty of subjectivity. By the very virtue of you being here, I’m going to assume you want to know what I thought of “I Am Unicorn”. Well my friends, I quite enjoyed it. Despite some worrisome moments (which I’m sure you all are dying to discuss – as am I), the episode on the whole really worked. The music. The pacing. The story development. I so enjoy GLEE when it’s not a jumbled mess.

GLEE’s Matthew Morrison Responds to Jonah Hill’s Smackdown

Things just got interesting between Superbad and Mr. Schue.

In case you missed it, last week while appearing as a guest on LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON, “Moneyball” star Jonah Hill had some choice words for GLEE actor Matt Morrison. Seems there was more than one occasion where Jonah felt slighted by the GLEE star.

Last night Matthew Morrison responded with a video message of his own for Jonah. Check it out.

No doubt Jimmy Fallon will bring these two guys together for a hilarious bit down the road. Can’t wait.

CHUCK Season 5 Promo

September 23, 2011 by

The fifth and final season of CHUCK returns to NBC on Friday, October 21st.  And yes, I agree…that’s just too long to wait.

You know what makes waiting just a bit easier?  A new CHUCK promo.

Check out the bad-asses of Carmichael Industries show you what they can do! If only I had some kind of international threat – I would hire these people in a heartbeat.

Are you as excited as I am for the new season of CHUCK?

I’m going to savor each one of these 13 episodes.

GLEE Spoilers: “I Am Unicorn” Teasers

September 23, 2011 by
Filed under #1 featured, Glee, Glee Spoilers

I just had the chance to screen “I am Unicorn”, this Tuesday’s episode of GLEE. There was a small (very small) part of me that didn’t want to watch the episode early as it meant that I would have to wait that much longer for episode 3. But I quickly got over that and pressed PLAY.

Before we get started…

My fellow die-hard GLEEks are a passionate bunch, this I know. So I think it’s only fair to set your expectations that this post – in the words of Quinn Fabray –  is all about the teasin’ and not necessarily the pleasin’. While I hope to share a few tidbits that will get you more excited about next week’s episode I’m not about spoiling major plot points for you.

If you are the type of fan that is going to be annoyed with me for not spilling everything there is to know, (yes, I’m talking to those of you on Tumblr who wanted to kill my first born earlier today) then it’s probably best that you NOT read this and just wait to watch the episode yourself on Tuesday.

On the other hand, if you are a fan that has a wavering line when it comes to what constitutes a spoiler, then you might want to stay away too as it’s not my intention to ruin the episode in any capacity for you.

With those caveats and disclaimers out of the way, let’s talk about “I Am Unicorn”.

Totally GLEEking Out Over the GLEE Season Premiere

September 20, 2011 by

We’re kicking things off with two disclaimers tonight.  First the usual – if you haven’t yet seen the season premiere of GLEE, then you probably should stop reading and come back after you watch the ep. The second disclaimer goes a little something like this – I’m completely GLEEking out right now.  As in it kills me to sit here and have to write this post when I would much rather be watching the episode over from the very beginning so just I can sing and dance along.

You see why the second disclaimer is necessary? I’m experiencing a GLEE rush and I think it’s only fair that you are all warned in advance as it’s about to get all up and gleeful in here.
