GREY’S ANATOMY Recap: ‘Don’t Deceive Me (Please Don’t Go)’
February 4, 2011 by Korbi Ghosh
Filed under #1 featured, Grey's Anatomy, Grey's Anatomy Recap
Hey, GREY’S fans, our trusty GA recapper, Ms. Christina Scanlon, is on vacation, so I’m going to do an admittedly shoddy job of reviewing last night’s episode, “Don’t Deceive Me (Please Don’t Go),” in her absence.
A couple important storylines to tackle this week…
First and foremost, the fact that Callie is pregnant with Mark’s baby, but he still hasn’t told Lexie about it. Yikes. Fortunately for Callie, Arizona knows what’s up and she has come to terms with it; she wants to be a part of the kid’s life. Mark does too, but will that change after Lexie loses it on him? I suppose we’ll have to wait until next Thursday to find out. He does indeed break the news to her before the end of this ep, and uh, yeah, she’s not pleased and storms out.
Elsewhere, Derek chooses Alex to assist him on an Alzheimer’s clinic trial, which of course pisses Meredith off. But Derek insists that Meredith’s family history with the disease — coupled with their marriage — would make the partnership way too personal. In the end, however, Alex — shocker!! — can’t handle the intricate emotional complications that come along with Alzheimer’s and, to his credit, tells Derek to get over his issues as Meredith is the right person for the job. McDreamy ultimately agrees.
Down the hall, Cristina is back in a big way, scheming and lying to get the surgeries she wants which is despicable and sort of awesome all at the same time. Poor Jackson, who she’s competing with this week, has no idea whom he’s dealing with. Welcome back, C-Money.
Meanwhile, Bailey manages to convert the Chief into a Twitter user. No easy task, especially when you consider the fact that he was fuming when he first found out she was Tweeting surgeries. But, it turns out, the insane little social media tool actually has some value… supposedly.
So, yeah, that’s what happened on GREY’S ANATOMY this week.
Did you watch?
Did you like?
Do you think Lexie should forgive Mark and just be a sweet stepmommy to Callie’s spawn?
Speak up in the comments section, yo…
