PARENTHOOD: Should Adam and Kristina Let Haddie Date Alex?
January 5, 2011 by Korbi Ghosh
The kickass Michael B. Jordan of THE WIRE, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS and ALL MY CHILDREN fame, has joined PARENTHOOD and is doing a stand up job playing Alex, the responsible recovering alcoholic who manages the soup kitchen where Haddie Braverman volunteers. The love story between the unlikely pairing has built nicely as of late, despite the roadblock Adam and Kristina Braverman attempted to erect this week.
Though Adam and Kristina were more than impressed with Alex and how he’s managed to pull himself out of the most dire of circumstances, his maturity level seemed just a bit too much for their 16-year-old daughter.
Can’t say I don’t understand their concerns. The kid, well, isn’t really a kid, having been emancipated and living on his own since he was Haddie’s age.
Still, I knew their decision to ban Haddie from seeing Alex was never going to work. What universe are they inhabiting that they don’t realize she’s far too old for them to control whom she does and doesn’t see. Did they completely miss the BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 Brenda-Jim Walsh-Dylan debacle of 1991?!
Maybe the two should’ve, instead, just calmly expressed their fears to Haddie. And to Alex, for that matter. Perhaps they could’ve set some ground rules, such as Haddie is not allowed to go to his apartment. Alex seems so darn respectful, I actually think he would abide by the Braverman’s requests even if Haddie is resistant to them.
But, hey, that’s just me. I’m no one’s parent. What do I know…
What do you guys think?

Hanna is alive, my friends.
Ashley Benson, the babe behind your favorite PLL blonde, tells Give Me My Remote that Hanna will survive the hit-and-run accident we saw in last year’s midseason finale.
But does Hanna know who ‘A’ is? Will we be surprised to hear who she IDs? And what’s up with that picture of Alison at her hospital bedside?
Ashley spills in our video interview with her, just after the jump.
So be sure to watch that, as well as tonight’s midseason premiere, because major secrets are being revealed.
Mr. Fitz’ relationship with Aria? Emily’s sexuality? A quiet admirer of one of our girls?
Mhmm, it’s all coming out.
Enjoy…
GREEK: Will Graduation Break Up the Crew? Amber Stevens Spills on the New Season!

Comments Off on GREEK: Will Graduation Break Up the Crew? Amber Stevens Spills on the New Season!
When GREEK returns this Monday, January 3rd, we’ll find all of our CRU favorites at graduation.
And as Dean Bowman (Alan Ruck) delivers the commencement speech, you’ll realize that not much has changed since we last saw the crew.
Evan and Rebecca are still going strong. Cappie and Case, not so much. In fact, the two aren’t even on speaking terms.
Cut to three months later… The summer is waning, Casey’s move to D.C. (where she’ll start GW Law School) is looming and Cappie is returning from a road trip.
But a reconciliation for C&C is not exactly item number one on Ms. Cartwright’s ‘To Do’ list. Why? Because her rejection from CRU Law isn’t adding up. And it seems that a less-than-glowing recommendation letter from a certain someone is responsible.
How will she handle it, especially with her BFF Ashleigh all the way in New York, working for Faith Flowers?
Tune in tonight to see.
But first, spend some one-on-one time with our friend Amber Stevens (Ashleigh), who spills on Ash’s NYC employment, as well as her path as the season unfolds…

TERRIERS Cancelled

Just as we’re celebrating the renewal of one quality cable TV favorite, we get the bad news that another cable standout is getting cancelled.
FX has announced that it will not be bringing the critically-acclaimed TERRIERS back for a second season.
All we have to say about that is BOO!!
Good television is good television and we were just getting into this one. Sometimes it takes a second year for audiences to find a show. We love you, FX, but we’re thinking you made the wrong call here.
RIP, TERRIERS…

VAMPIRE DIARIES’ Kevin Williamson to Create Companion Series for CW
November 30, 2010 by Korbi Ghosh
Filed under #1 featured, The Vampire Diaries, TV News
Kevin Williamson, executive producer of The CW’s THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, could probably use some supernatural energy of his own come 2011. According to E! Online, Williamson will develop a TVD “companion series” for the netlet while continuing to run TVD this winter.
The details? Apparently, the proposed pilot will be a one-hour drama about a group of researchers who investigate paranomal happenings. It’s unlikely that any of the VAMPIRE DIARIES characters would cross over to the new series as it is currently unconnected to the TVD world and is considered a completely different project.
It will likely be just one of several options for THE CW’s Fall 2011 schedule as BUFFY alum Michelle Trachtenberg, TVD book series author L.J. Smith and Samuel L. Jackson are all reportedly developing projects as well.

COMMUNITY: Christmas Claymation Episode Previews with Danny Pudi and Alison Brie
November 29, 2010 by Korbi Ghosh
When I visited the set of COMMUNITY this fall, creator Dan Harmon proudly told us of the show’s upcoming holiday episode which will be done completely in the animated stop-motion medium, just like some of the old Christmas classics we loved as kids.
In the ep, when Abed (Danny Pudi) wakes up in stop-motion animation, he takes it as a sign that he and the group must re-discover the meaning of Christmas. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) become growingly concerned about Abed’s mental health and enlist the help of Professor Duncan (John Oliver). The group undergoes hypnosis to explore Abed’s winter wonderland and soon unravel the truth behind Abed’s madness.
Check out a couple previews below, which Pudi and Alison Brie (Annie) host…

I think I might be drunk by association after watching this week’s delightfully fluffy episode of GREY’S ANATOMY.
It’s nighttime at Seattle Grace, and we get an in-depth look at what the late shift is like for our favorite residents, who are somehow all on night duty at the same time. Meanwhile, across the street at Joe’s bar, the attendings test the upper limits of their alcohol tolerances.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER: Two Beavers Are Better Than One

We’ve learned a lot from HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER over the years.
But this latest lesson comes courtesy of the Canadian TV show, SPACE TEENS, starring one Robin Sparkles.
Yes, kids, it’s true, during HIMYM’s third installment of the Robin Sparkles series, which aired Monday evening, we got a couple golden knowledge nuggets, including the fact that two beavers are better than one. Also, Alan Thicke’s joystick is apparently a useful math tool.
Check it…

Conan Returns To TV with GLEE’s Lea Michele

The man, the myth, the red-haired legend, Mr. Conan O’Brien, made his return to television last night with the debut of his new TBS talk show, CONAN, and GLEE star Lea Michele stopped by to help him celebrate.
She giggled a lot, seemed like she was happy to be there, and talked about the recent GQ photo shoot that started a bit of controversy with its sexy pics of her.
I’m assuming the GQ business probably influenced her fashion choice last night: a not so flattering dress that even covers her collar bone, but whatevs…
Glad Conan’s back on TV?

GLEE: Mark Salling Tells Us If Puck Wants Quinn… And What About Rachel?
November 8, 2010 by Korbi Ghosh
GLEE fans have not seen Mark Salling for a few weeks now since Puck has been M.I.A., but he returns to the show this week and, in honor of the occasion, GIVE ME MY REMOTE got some quality time with him.
He messes with us (and our camera) a bit, but when the subject of Puck and Quinn is raised, Salling gets serious. Does Puck want to be with Quinn, even though she’s not carrying his child anymore?
We get an honest, thoughtful, straightforward answer from the actor and he weighs in on whether the pairing of Puck and Rachel is a thing of the past or a future possibility too…
