At the end of the penultimate episode of NEW AMSTERDAM’s season, Iggy (Tyler Labine) had a revelation about his marriage to Martin (Mike Doyle): Martin was actually the problem in their union, not Iggy.
When Labine read that in the script, “my reaction was immediately to call Mike Doyle, [who plays Martin],” Labine recalls in the video below. “I was like, ‘What the fudge, man? These guys—Iggy’s being ridiculous.’ But Mike was like, ‘I think Martin’s being ridiculous, too.’ And I was like, ‘Interesting.'”
