TRUE BLOOD Recap: Never Let Me Go

This episode was a lot of relationship stuff, not much to further the big plot lines but at least get them to a new section for the next few weeks.
Sookie, Bill and Jessica
Sookie can’t get Barry, the telepathic bellboy to talk to her. He warns her that the Dallas vampires are dangerous and out of control and aren’t really nice to humans as a whole. Jessica is punished for ordering “room service” and starts to talk to Hoyt over the phone. Bill continues to feel the pressure of trying to protect everyone while not having the control over any of the decisions. Sookie tells him that that’s what being a human is like and tells him that she will stay safe.
When they meet with the Dallas vampires, it quickly becomes clear that the Bon Temps crew was invited as a courtesy and that all of the Dallas vampires have war in mind with the Fellowship of the Sun, who they are positive took Godrick. In order to stop all of the arguing and save all of the area humans, Sookie volunteers to infiltrate the Fellowship of the Sun and find out a) who took Godrick and b) who is working both sides. Eric is so interested in Godrick because Godrick is (was?) his maker.
At the end of the episode, we learn that Barry quit the hotel. Then, a random female vampire shows up, fangs out.
This is obviously the main storyline of the season, as it should be. We returned from the “Marianne is Crazy Hour” of the past couple weeks and got back to learning a lot more about vampire relations. This season has delved a little deeper into the way that coming out of the coffin has affected all sorts of things and how all of the traditions of vampires work in the mainstream world. Plot elements like this are what I’ve been craving all season, so I loved it.

Hello, all. I hope that your two-week break from “True Blood” was eventful and fantastic. But, alas, the gang from Bon Temps was back this week in an episode that set up a lot of things for the rest of the season.
Sookie, Bill and Jessica
Bill kicks Hoyt out of his house. Jessica defends herself by saying that, essentially, she’s being a teenage girl first and a new vampire second. Sookie suggests that Jessica come with them to Dallas as a way for her to learn more about her new lifestyle and get out of the house a bit.
When they arrive, the limo driver attempts to abduct Sookie. After being glamoured by Jessica, Bill glamours him and finds out that he was hired by the Fellowship of the Sun to abduct the human with the Compton party.
Bill goes to meet Eric later (see below). While gone, Jessica orders a prostitute for her to feed upon. Sookie finds out that Barry, the hotel worker who brought the prostitute to the door, can read minds as well. Sookie leaves to chase him down.
Bill, Eric and Lafayette
Lafayette stays holed up in his house, even rebuffing Tara on her birthday. Eric shows up and offers his blood so Lafayette’s leg will heal. Eric explains that Lafayette is important to Sookie, which means that he is important to Eric, or at least interesting. Lafayette feeds and feels better. Eric departs for Dallas.
In Dallas, Eric sheds a little light on his relationship and concern with Godrick’s disappearance. Eric worries that if a vampire as powerful as Godrick can be captured, anyone can be and if the Dallas vampires don’t get answers soon, he fears that they will start to attack humans to get answers.

Ahh, another week, another wonderful episode of “True Blood.” Before we get started, a quick reminder that if you want to catch up on the season or get started if you haven’t yet, HBO will be showing the first three episodes of the second season next week in lieu of a new episode. So, if you’re up-to-date you get a week off to watch some fireworks, have a beer (or bottle of Tru Blood) and enjoy Independence Day.
Sookie, Bill and Eric
Bill spared the lives of Jessica’s family, but didn’t let up on Sookie on the way home. After a long fight in which Bill called Sookie a child, Sookie leaves. While in the woods, she is attacked by a big, horned…umm…thing. Bill’s blood won’t cure her, so he takes her to Fangtasia. We find out that the poison is similar to a Komodo Dragon’s venom, but works much more quickly. After being healed, Sookie wakes up and finds out about Lafayette in the basement. She makes a deal: Lafayette’s release in exchange for Sookie, along with Bill, to go with Eric to Dallas to investigate the disappearance of Godrick, another sheriff who has disappeared…as well as $10,000. After all, Sookie needs a new driveway.
This part of the season is a mixed bag for me, honestly. I LOVE the fact that Eric is taking a bigger role in things and that perhaps the mystery of Godrick will be a constant thread and the prospect of a road trip with Bill, Sookie and Eric in a car together would be pretty fantastic. Does anyone else smell a road trip?
A giant horned beast running through the woods of Bon Temps pushes the limits of what I love about the show. While it can be cheeky and campy and sexy, “True Blood” has always been, to me, a look at outsiders in America and how all parts of a society deal with them. Where does a big giant beast play into that? I hope it becomes clearer in the week ahead.

Hello, fellow Fanger Fanatics out there! Philboy here to take on my third series for GMMR, “True Blood”. Before I get started on the jam-packed second episode of season two, let me give my thanks to Kath for taking reviewing duties last week as I was delving deep into Nashville, Tennessee and its CMA Music Festival.
I did want to mention before I started my tenure as “True Blood” analyst by saying that I have not read the books and will not until the series is over, which I hope does not occur for a long time. The show and all of its storylines will not be weighed against anything else but the content itself. I would welcome all of the debates, though, in the comments and will try to respond and increase the dialogue as much as I can.
Sookie, Bill & Jessica
I love the character of Jessica. I know that this is a divisive topic within the fan community. After Sookie and Bill decide to make up and try to turn over a new leaf, Sookie tells Bill to try to be a little gentler with Jessica because, in the end, she’s still a teenager (with a wicked accurate Bill impression, I might add). After seeing her parents on TV, Jessica tells Sookie that she realizes how much she loved them and misses them and wants to just be near them again. Sookie, who recognizes loss and is also a bit of a sap at times, takes her. But sweet Jessica reveals herself as a vamp when her abusive father comes home and starts berating her. Was Jessica genuinely missing her family or was this a ploy for her to get back at her domineering, home-schooling family? Bill shows up at the end of the episode to clean up the mess, getting angry with Sookie in the process.
Let me also go on record saying I am very pro-Bill. Eric is an interesting character, but I really love how human and somewhat altruistic Bill can be. Therefore, seeing him glamour a child was incredibly unsettling. The deeper we get into the politics of the vampire world, the more drawn in I become. The reason Bill had to show up is that both Sookie and Jessica are technically his, aren’t they? It’s a fascinating way to leave things for next week.
Sam and Maryann
Maryann shows up to the restaurant, eats all day and makes everyone all frisky. Then, when Sam confronts her, she gets all shaky and does his shape-shifting for him – turning him into a dog. She threatens that she can make it happen at any time, so Sam better be a little nicer to her.
Casting News: DEXTER Gains a Nemesis, 24 Adds New Faces

It’s rare that I get to comment on any of the three shows I cover for GMMR while they’re on hiatus, but this is a rare occasion. Both “24” and “Dexter” have made some casting decisions, both big and small.
In Miami, “Dexter” has gained a new enemy for season four. John Lithgow (“3rd Rock from the Sun, Footloose) will play Walter Simmons, a seemingly normal man who just happens to be one of the country’s most prolific serial killers – The Trinity Killer. His M.O. is killing people in groups of three. Dexter will be brought on to the Trinity Killer’s case by Agent Lundy (Keith Carradine) who we saw in the second season.
My experience with Lithgow is mainly comedic, so I’m not sure how to think about him as Simmons, or the Trinity Killer. I don’t even know if knowing the identity of the killer is a spoiler, but I’m thinking that it almost has to be, with a high-profile star taking over the role. The encouraging news about this is the return of Agent Lundy. Not only did he provide Deb a love interest for a little bit, but his borderline creepy demeanor and instant liking to Dexter were fascinating and I can’t wait to see them continue this season.
And now on to New York, where the next season of “24” will be set. A few new faces will be hanging with Jack Bauer next season. Look for actor John Boyd to join the show playing a new CTU analyst. Jennifer Westfeldt, whose biggest credit seems to be “Kissing Jessica Stein” (and being the girlfriend of MAD MEN’s Jon Hamm) will be playing a journalist with ties to Anil Kapoor’s UN ambassador character. You probably know Kapoor from “Slumdog Millionaire” as the host of “Millionaire.” And finally, word on the street (and by the street I mean TV Guide), is that Freddie Prinze Jr. will also be joining the CTU team.
To my recollection, we’ve never had a journalist as a main character in “24.” The possibility of Jack dealing with the press is intriguing. I can’t imagine that his public relations skills are the best in the world. This news also confirms what we already knew, for the most part: that CTU will be returning next season in a more scrutinized and lawful form….but this time with a Prinze. As for who will be the head of CTU 2.0, that has yet to be released. Director Bauer, anyone?
So DEXTER and 24 fans, are you excited about these new cast additions?

You think Jack Bauer can do it all? How about our very own Agent Philboy who kept up with the whole season of 24 while finishing his Senior of college?! Take that, Mr. Bauer. All kidding aside, I would like to thank Philboy for taking on reviewing 24 this season for GMMR. It’s not an easy show to cover and he did it while being informative and fun. And thanks to all of you who pulled the all nighter the Jack and GMMR this season. We hope to see you back when the clock starts ticking again.
As for Philboy, I’m happy to announce that he will be on vampire duty this summer. He’ll be back with weekly reviews of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD.
Thanks,
Kath

My feelings about “24” are mixed. The season, as a whole, was a classic return to form. For a show that has had some excellent finales in its time, tonight’s episode left me a little disappointed.
Debrief
Instead of trying to debrief you all on two hours of action, I’m going to try my best to tie up all of the storylines.
Jack, Kim, Tony and Renee
Jack was forced to break Tony out of FBI custody to save Kim. Tony then takes Jack hostage, saying he plans on using Jack to rebuild the pathogen and launch the bioweapon. After finding this information, Renee finds Kim and tells her someone is after her. After seeing that the cops are coming, the couple engage the cops in a shootout, with the woman dying and the man getting away.
While Jack is losing some weight via his spinal fluid, Tony stars complaining that he wants a promotion within The Group. Cara calls her boss, Alan Wilson, who says that he will meet with Tony. Jack escapes, but is recaught by Tony. Tony tells Jack that he never planned on harvesting his organs, but was using Jack to lure and kill Wilson. It turns out that Wilson is responsible for Palmer and Michelle’s death’s, as well as everything that occurred during the day.
Jack follows the guy and eventually calls Renee. He ends up crashing a car in the airport’s parking garage. Kim takes the laptop…and gets set on fire in the process. The information on the laptop led the FBI to the warehouse wherein…
…there’s a giant shootout and everyone escapes, but the bomb is defused. In the warehouse, Tony kills Cara and starts monologuing before he supposedly kills Wilson. Jack and Renee put an end to this and arrest both of them.
Renee wants information from Wilson, who doesn’t budge. Before he heads to the hospital to die, Renee asks Jack for advice. Jack tells her that he has no regrets; that he knows that what he did, by some sort of marker, is wrong, but he was OK with what he had done; and that Renee needed to be able to see in her heart what the right thing to do was.
Jack is ready to die. While in a coma, Kim shows up to do the stem cell transplant.

A big congrats to Philboy who is graduating this week!!!
So, I’m graduating college this week and moving out of my temporary home for four years. Therefore, this week’s review is going to be short, unfortunately. But, a couple of comments on this week and the big question for you all.
I thought this was a fantastic episode in so many ways. I didn’t expect Tony to get caught right away and expected him to elude Jack and Renee until the last few minutes, maybe the last hour. I knew from the previews from last week that we would see Kim again and I knew that she would be in trouble because other than the season where she was a computer technician for no apparent reason, Kim’s sole purpose has been to be a pain in the ass and the princess trapped in the tower that Jack must save.
We found out this week in TV Guide that Annie Wersching and Cherry Jones will be returning next season as Renee and President Taylor respectively, so I predict that Renee will not only be helping Jack save Kim, but killing Tony in the process. Even if it is trite and has been done, I can’t help but be intrigued as to how Jack will save Kim.
Kudos to the team behind “24” for not making Aaron a bad guy. Instead, we get a double bonus of getting Ethan back in the White House to help take Olivia down. While I’m sort of sympathetic towards her, I’m ready for the beatdown that it looks like President Taylor is going to unleash next week after (I’m hoping) Aaron and Ethan look at the recordings.
Only one person died this week, so we’ll have a final kill count next week after the TWO HOUR FINALE (make sure you all turn it on at 8 p.m., people.)
Alrighty, I’m taking bets…How is this all going to end?

Not much happened this week until the end of the episode, but there are a lot of possibilities for where things could go.
Debrief
- The CTU servers dug out of storage hadn’t served up any information. Jack, using the information he had received from Jonas, told Chloe to search for all Muslims in the database. Janis whines about it. Jack yells at her. She shuts up. Chloe finds out about Jack’s exposure to the bioweapon and impending death. He tells her to buck up.
- Tony has Jabran read a statement or else they will kill his brother. While he is reading it, the cops show up. Jabran’s neighbor reported a disturbance and some unknown visitors to the apartment. Jabran, under threat of death, waves them off.
- Chloe finds a lead on Jabran, his mosque leader. When they talk to him, he recognizes Jack and assures them that Jabran is not a terrorist. Shockingly enough, Jack doesn’t believe him. When the cop who visited Jabran tells the FBI where he lives, Jack handcuffs the mosque leader and brings him along.

This episode felt like good ol’ “24.” Let’s get started before Jack tells me to, “GO WHINE SOMEPLACE ELSE.”
Debrief
- Tony shows up to Galvez’s apartment. Money has been paid to Galvez. When Tony goes to get the canister, it isn’t there. Galvez wants to know who is buying/using the canister. Tony kills him for…being a nuisance? The woman who posed as Hodges’ lawyer visits Tony. She says that “the group” needs that canister to create more pathogen. Tony says the best plan would be to use the canister today instead of six months from now, like “the group” is planning. After talking on a very creepy conference call, they agree unanimously to go through with Tony’s plan.
- The agents got Hodges to the hospital in time for him to not die. He’s in lockdown at the FBI. Jack figures that “the group” is using Hodges’ family as leverage. Jack tells the President to offer Hodges a deal for protection. They fake his death. Hodges tells Jack that, even though he doesn’t know any names, he knows that “the group” was planning on framing sleeper cells to show the need for their government contracts to stand up against the courts. The woman who posed as Hodges’ lawyer was the lynchpin to it all. Jack convinces the President to go forward on the premise that Tony and “the group” will attack today.
- Jack needs the old CTU servers to keep up with Tony. Only one person knows how to use them…CHLOE! She tells Morris to take Prescott and leave and she goes to the FBI. When she gets there, Jack tells her everything…except that he’s dying. Janis is being how Chloe used to be and Jack yells at her for it. He mixes up Presidents Taylor and Palmer in his tirade, which clues Chloe in on the fact that Jack isn’t well.

Compared to last week, this week was a little boring. But, a lot went on, so we’ll get started.
Debrief
- A woman posing as Hodges’ secretary goes to his cell and tells him that the group in control of all of the day’s events, which is made up of a bunch of Starkwood-type organizations (or so it seems) see hi as a liability. She gives him a pill that will trigger a massive heart attack and, in theory, stop the investigation into Starkwood. Taylor orders Hodges to be transported to the White House for questioning.
- The FBI finds out that Larry has been shot. Tony has made it look as if the shooter also shot him. Tony tells his contact with the canister to find a large building and blow it up to draw the FBI off the perimeter.
- Kim tells Renee she’s leaving because Jack doesn’t want her to watch him die. Then, Renee finds out that Larry is dead. After that, she goes to lead a team to the site of the crime . Jack is in the middle of debriefing (while he still can), but decides to go with her to find the man with the canister. (manister?)
- When Jack and Renee get to the crime scene, Jack starts to question Tony’s story because the bullets don’t match. Tony’s guy with the canister tposes as an FBI agent to get the team to the location where he will promptly blow them all up. Jack can’t go because of the bioweapon symptoms.
- As the team gets closer to the building, Jack starts to put the pieces together. He looks at the communication information and figures out that the building is a trap. The building blows up with minimal casualties.
- Jack uses his badassery to put together that Tony has something to do with everything. When he confronts him, the bioweapon gets the best of him and he collapses, with Tony holding his medication, lording it over him.
Agent Philboy’s Assessment
This was one of those episodes where you are yelling at the TV, “C’mon, Jack. Put it together. You know better than this.” And he did. Of course he did. Because he’s Jack. The hope that I was holding that Tony being a bad guy was all an act doesn’t seem to be happening does it? I know that’s what a lot of you were hoping for too. But, alas, it looks as if our beloved Tony is a bad guy after all.
This episode had to do a couple of things and it did them very well. First, it had to introduce the scheme in which Starkwood should be placed. From Hodges tirade last week, we knew that things didn’t end with Starkwood, and details are still vague as to whats fully going on and, more importantly, how Tony plays into everything. What we do know is that Will Patton (Remember the Titans) is currently the big bad guy. I really like him, so, like Jon Voight, it should be a good time.

It was a big episode this week and let’s get started.
Debrief
- President Taylor told everyone that the reason she cancelled the air attack against Starkwood was that she didn’t have enough intel. While in Starkwood, Tony confirms that Hodges has missiles and is ready to launch them. Jack tells Taylor that Tony can go in and blow up the missiles. Taylor all but says yes, not being able to give the official order.
- Jonas met with the President in the Oval Office. He says that Starkwood has been pushed out of the government, compared to the previous administration, and that Starkwood hasn’t been allowed to do their job. He is proposing a partnership between the President and Starkwood. The President accuses Starkwood of being a terrorist organization and of killing her son (remember back in the day?!).
- Tony goes in and, at the last possible second (of course) destroys the canisters. Upon hearing that the bioweapon has been destroyed, Taylor arrests Hodges and Greg for being general douchebags. While he’s being taken away, he says that he’s “just a small cog in a very big machine” and that she “can’t even imagine what she’s up against.” Tony is OK after the explosion, but Larry has to take him back into custody.
- After everything was OK, Jack called Taylor and asked about getting Tony a pardon. In the middle of the conversation, he blacked out, showing signs of the bioweapon. Taylor has asked to be kept up to date on Jack’s condition. Renee, meanwhile, has asked Kim to come in to see if she’s a match for the stem cell transplant. Jack is initially upset until he finds out that Kim has been looking for him all day after seeing him at the trial on TV. He goes and sees her and they talk a lot of stuff out. Jack apologizes for all of the pain he might of caused Kim. Kim apologizes for not taking responsibility for her actiosns and blaming Jack for everything. Even though they are bonding, Jack asks her to leave, saying that dealing with the disease would be unbearable with her there.
- A Starkwood operative is caught by an FBI agent trying to leave the compund with a canister. He gets away and is eventually caught up to with the helicopter with Larry and Tony in it. The car pulls into a parking lot and, after landing, Larry and the op get into a firefight, with Larry eventually getting shot with a high-powered rifle. Leaning over him, Tony ends up calling off the operative and killing Larry himself. Yes, indeed, Tony is a bad guy.
Agent Philboy’s Assessment
Man, did a lot happen this week! There were big developments on all fronts and a big disappointment for me in the weak entrance of Kim Bauer.
First up, the President. I know that this episode was a game changer and that anything could happen, but, if Taylor makes it out of this as President and the writers decide to bring her back next season, is Jack being poised as a government worker again? She has taken a serious interest in him and not just as an asset to the government. She understands how much he has sacrificed today and isn’t going to forget it anytime soon.

Well, we had a hilarious/awesome episode this week, but before we get started, I want to talk a little bit about “Chuck” in honor of “Chuck Week” here at GMMR. So, if you’re tired of the “Chuck” rhetoric, skip down to the Debrief.
“24” and “Chuck” have a lot in common. They’re both about spies and agents. They both have main characters who…umm…well, OK, Chuck and Jack Bauer have nothing in common. Jack would have killed Chuck within two minutes of being charged to protect him. In fact, Jack would have joined Fulcrum just to have the chance to kill Chuck, out of spite.
But nonetheless, anyone who has ever read my witty biography at the bottom of all my pages, knows that “Chuck” is one of my can’t miss shows. I watch a lot of TV and Chuck is one of those shows that I make time for. It’s witty, it’s got everything that a contemporary show looks for: an awesome and compelling ongoing story as well as fun and intriguing weekly adventures. This show is quality, and it needs to stay on the air. And, to do that, it seems, members of the Nerd Herd like me need your help. So, please, think about writing a letter, even if it’s a quick one, to the powers that be. Thanks!
Alrighty, sorry about that. On to the…
Debrief
- In looking at Senator Mayer’s records, Jack finds information about Knowles, Starkwood’s Chairman who was secretly working with Mayer to take Starkwood down. Knowles says he knows where the missiles for the bioweapon are and will take Tony there. Larry helps Tony create a diversion to escape and gets captured in the process.
- Jack is starting to feel the effects of the bioweapon. President Taylor is concerned about him, as is Renee of course. He collapses at one point and the CDC gives him an injection that he will have to take constantly to stay functioning. They say that he can be given a transplant to alleviate the symptoms and family members are the most likely donors. Renee googled Jack and saw Kim’s name, but Jack told her that he and Kim don’t talk anymore and that he doesn’t want to call her.

[Sorry for the late post 24 fans. Philboy sent this my way and it got temporarily lost in the shuffle.]
Debrief
- The CDC examined Jack. It turns out that the bioweapon that Starkwood (re)acquired contains an airborne version of Cruetzfeldt-Jakob disease. The bioweapon causes paralysis and dementia in a matter of days as opposed to the disease’s normal matter of years. From the leak in the containers, Jack was infected.
- Tony is held captive at the Starkwood compound. He is rescued by Greg, Jonas Hodges’ second in command, who worries that the operation has gone too far and offers to help Tony and the FBI help find the bioweapon in exchange for immunity.
- Renee cries a lot after debriefing Jack (the puns abound, I know) and Larry tells her that she should have trusted him. The good news is that Larry is totally on Jack’s side now, it seems. He doesn’t allow him to raid the Starkwood compound because he doesn’t know when the symptoms of the bioweapon exposure will occur.
- President Taylor has appointed Olivia acting Chief of Staff. She authorized the attack on the Starkwood compound without issue. Olivia wants Aaron to be her Secret Service detail.
- Greg leads Tony and the FBI to a container at Starkwood, only to have them realized it was all a ruse to buy Starkwood and Hodges more time. The weapons were no where to be found. When they tried to leave, Starkwood troops boxed the FBI in, not allowing them to leave. The FBI has been taken hostage.
Agent Philboy’s Assessment
This episode was…fine. It had an awesome last act, with the raid on Starkwood. Tonight, I took stock in the plotlines that were annoying me to see where they were a couple of episodes and, I have to say, Larry may not be a tool anymore! I did love the moment where Jack and Larry “finally agreed on something.” Larry had a good point, I suppose, and Jack really had no point but agree and stay behind. Of course, it makes his entrance even more dramatic next week (I predict).

I come back from Portland with a throat infection, an upcoming trip with the Boilermakers to Glendale, Arizona and another good, if not action-packed episode of “24”.
Also, before I get started, I wanted to give kudos to those who left comments last week. Not only was the encouragement of Purdue greatly appreciated, but I read them when I got back and they made me howl. I had forgotten about Jack’s murse (man purse) last season. It was like Captain Kanagroo’s pockets: it was bottomless and he had everything he needed in there.
Debrief
- HEY, the First Gentleman is alive! Also, Ethan feels he must resign in the wake of the appearance of Jack killing Mayer. He will turn in his resignation by the morning (the end of the season).
- Jack and Tony go to the Port of Alexandria to intercept the shipping crate with the bioweapon. There they meet Officer Carl, an expecting father to twins who has taken money from Starkwood to help them get the crate out of the yard. After getting the crate, the Starkwood men are going to kill Carl. Jack kills them first, setting off a giant firefight that ends to Jack hijacking the semi with the bioweapon.

This week we were in real real time (my apologies to Kath for giving her the wrong time for last week) as we got some much needed answers. Let’s get started before I get too excited about my trip to Portland tomorrow.
Oh, what’s that? You didn’t know I was going to Portland. Neither did I, until yesterday. I’ll be traveling with the No. 5 seed Purdue Men’s Basketball Team as part of the pep band. Hopefully, I’ll be gone until about Sunday, if we win both games. If anybody has some good suggestions for food or things to do in Portland, leave them in the comments. [GMMR: Congrats Philboy…GOOO Purdue!]
Debrief
- Jack breaks into a car that conveniently has a MacBook in it. He sends images off the hospital security camera to the newly-suspended Renee, who identifies the killer, Quinn, as a member of private security contractor Starkwood. Starkwood has been known for some shenanigans in the past but nothing having to do with Juma or Sangala. The best authority on Starkwood is none other but Senator Mayer, who is investigating them, along with Jack and half of the rest of the free world.
- Larry is a tool.
- After losing Jack, Larry goes back to FBI HQ and finds Morris O’Brien, Chloe’s husband (Remember her?!) who wants his wife released. He makes a deal to help them find Jack’s location in exchange for Chloe’s release. On a scale from one to divorce, Chloe is at about a seven.
- Larry is a tool.
