You may be traveling to your Thanksgiving destination, but don’t forget there’s some great TV on tonight! I’ll be tuning into THE MIDDLE, MODERN FAMILY and (my favorite new TV show of the season) REVENGE.
Check out what’s on tonight, and let us know what you’ll be watching this Wednesday!
Survivor | 8pm on CBS
“A Closer Look”
Never-before-seen moments give an inside look into the castaways and their decisions made during the game so far.
The X-Factor | 8pm on Fox
Two of the remaining finalists from the four categories – Boys, Girls, Over 30s and Groups – are sent home as the votes are revealed LIVE on a special Wednesday results show. Plus, Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars are set to perform.
Up All Night | 8pm on NBC
“Week Off”
When the Ava show takes a break, Reagan is thrilled to spend the week at home with Amy, but her type-A personality and defiant sense of justice upset the delicate balance of Chris’s neighborhood social life. Meanwhile, Ava tries to win over Kevin’s (guest star Jason Lee) daughter by giving her vocal lessons for a performance at school.
The Middle | 8pm on ABC
“Thanksgiving III”
Frankie’s parents, Pat and Tag, invite the Hecks to spend a few days at their house to celebrate Thanksgiving together. But the festivities begin to fall apart quickly when Frankie’s sister, Janet, and her family also join in, and soon the siblings are at each other’s throats over their widely differing parenting techniques. Meanwhile, Mike tries to offer some advice to Axl on how to pick up girls when he witnesses his son trying to impress a pretty mini-mart cashier – and fails miserably; Brick attempts to prove his innocence when he is accused by Janet of damaging her daughter’s expensive toy; and Sue is stoked when Frankie, Pat and Janet invite her to take part in their gossip sessions.
Suburgatory | 8:30pm on ABC
“Thanksgiving”
Depressed that she has to spend Thanksgiving in the suburbs, Tessa convinces Dallas to take her to the city for a girls’ day out. During their fun day, they run across George making out with a woman while he was supposed to be “working.” Angry with George for lying to her, Tessa confronts him during the Royces’ Thanksgiving dinner. Meanwhile Lisa refuses to wear a special dress Sheila picked out for her, so Sheila decides to literally turn up the heat.

With Thanksgiving only a few days away, you don’t have as many TV options this Tuesday. But, luckily, there are a few good choices, including the season finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS. (Go J.R.!)
Keep reading to see what’s on tonight, and let us know what you’ll be watching!
NCIS | 8pm on CBS
“Sins of the Father”
After Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. is found in a car with a dead body in the trunk and no memory of the previous night, the NCIS team must figure out if he is capable of murder. Meanwhile, Tony is sidelined for this case and must go against orders to try and prove his father’s innocence.
The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Episode 1210”
The contestants start their week with a holiday food temptation involving Thanksgiving favorites and amazing prizes, including a coveted 3 lb. advantage. Later, trainers Bob Harper, Anna Kournikova and Dolvett Quince prepare a healthy Thanksgiving dinner for the players, and everyone shares what they are most thankful for, with one trainer sharing a surprising revelation. Then it’s the toughest challenge of the season so far with an outdoor, one-mile high climb on Jacob’s Ladder treadmill climbers. The top finishers win special prizes with a “Pay it forward” twist. Later, one contestant does something considered uncharitable by the others, leading to friction at the elimination table before another player is sent home.
The X-Factor | 8pm on Fox
“Top 9 Perform”
The remaining finalists from the four categories – Boys, Girls, Over 30s and Groups – perform LIVE for their chance to win a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music. After the performances, it is up to America to vote to keep their favorite acts safe in the competition.
Last Man Standing | 8pm on ABC
“House Rules”
After an innocent date with Kristin, Kyle accidentally falls asleep in her bedroom. When Mike discovers this, his instinct is to take action. He establishes a new and more hard-lined set of house rules that end up causing more friction than harmony between him and his three daughters.
90210 | 8pm on The CW
“Smoked Turkey”
Dixon tries to pursue a relationship with a resistant Adrianna, while Ivy and Raj’s arguing takes a toll on their relationship. Liam plans a holiday dinner for the gang, and an unexpected guest shows up. Meanwhile, Naomi goes to extremes to prove her love to Austin.
Man Up! | 8:30pm on ABC

RINGER Recap: ‘Shut Up and Eat Your Bologna’

Welcome back, RINGER fans.
Tuesday’s episode of RINGER may be my favorite episode of the series yet. Why? I’m not quite sure — especially since we saw (spoiler alert) the reappearance of a hated character and Jason Dohring was nowhere to be seen (tragic).
Maybe it’s because Malcolm finally got to do something useful, or maybe it’s because Andrew and Bridget are finally acting like a married couple.
Ok, we all know the truth as to why I loved this episode: We finally saw Henry and Gemma’s twins, and they are adorable, red-headed babies. I’m a sucker for gingers.
I’m joking — sort of.
Let’s get down to business, shall we? So shut up, eat your bologna and keep reading.

Comments Off on NEW GIRL Preview: ‘Thanksgiving’ Brings the Addition of Justin Long
There’s a brand new episode of NEW GIRL on tonight — and it features the introduction of a brand new face. Justin Long begins his arc on NEW GIRL tonight as Paul, a music teacher who is also a love interest for Jess (Zooey Deschanel).
Jess invites Paul over for Thanksgiving dinner, but things don’t go exactly as planned (at least it doesn’t involve nudity this time…we think).
How will the romantically challenged Jess handle having Paul over for Thanksgiving? Check out the teaser below…

Comments Off on Showtime Renews WEEDS for Season 8
Fear not, WEEDS fans: The Botwin family will be coming back to your TVs (somewhat) soon.
Showtime announced today that WEEDS has been renewed for an eighth season. The show will go back into production in 2012 for 13 new episodes.
Since its seventh season finale in September, the fate of America’s favorite pot-selling family has been unknown. But after today’s announcement, you can rest a little easier – until you learn which Botwin was on the receiving end of a gunman’s bullet in the finale cliffhanger.
Are you looking forward to more WEEDS?

Well, RINGER proved me wrong — last week, I predicted Bridget would actually be pregnant. But guess what? It turns out she’s not.
I, for one, am glad RINGER did not to go this route. Let’s be honest, does this show really need any more complications?

I have to admit, RINGER fans, that I did not really miss the show during its two-week break.
Do I like the show? Sure, but its plot can be exhausting (whereas REVENGE is twisty yet fun). Sadly, my mind just needed a break. (Yes, my mind needed a break from a CW show — I give you permission to make fun of me in the comments.) But within the first few minutes of Tuesday’s RINGER, I was hooked again.

Jason Dohring is on RINGER!!!
OK, with that out of the way, I’m going to say that Monday’s episode of RINGER is the show’s best yet, and it’s mainly for three reasons:
- Jason Dohring, obviously.
- We heard, “You’ve reached Gemma. Don’t be boring,” at least three times. The irony made me laugh every time.
- Gemma may actually be gone.
Of course, there are other reasons why this week’s RINGER was so good, so we will get to those below.
