With BONES’ Brennan pregnant for the entire season (so far), that’s allowed for some of the more supporting players to take larger roles in solving the crimes. The most noticeable “promotion” of sorts? John Francis Daley’s Sweets bump up to Booth’s “partner.”

Before last month’s PaleyFest, I spoke with Daley about their new work relationship, getting that gun, and the latest on the Sweets and Daisy romance…

    Oh yeah? Well, HH and SN said that they would continue to increase Sweets’ role in the field and investigation. Say whatever you like, but Sweets is here to stay.

    I love Sweets….he is the perfect antagonist to Bones and Brennan! I love the show and ALL of it’s characters. Sweets is brainy in his own way let his
    character show off sometimes. Oh, and as for his love life….makes me crack up everytime! I hope that plot stays!

    Sweets can be in the field all HH wants but Brennan is still his partner and when they have Swaisy on the screen, I mute it. He acts like a horny teen around her and diminishes his character.

    Love the show, love Booth & Bones & Sweets & all the other characters – EXCEPT for Daisy. Her character is so grating, and her interactions with Sweets are almost painful for me to watch. It does diminish my enjoyment somewhat. I know they always have to have a “quirky” intern, but dang.
