My favorite night of the TV week is here, and even though I miss COMMUNITY, I’m going to make sure to watch NBC’s comedy lineup.

“Idiots are People Two!”
Drama erupts at TGS when a cell phone video leaks onto the web with Tracy Jordan on an offensive rant. Liz tries to do damage control. Meanwhile, Jack’s refusal to approve of Liz’s new boyfriend causes her to question the validity of her relationship. Kenneth and Jenna Maroney call on Kelsey Grammer when a problem arises that only the Best Friends Gang can handle.
American Idol | 8pm on Fox
“Auditions #2”
The auditions continue on the second part of two-night season premiere of AMERICAN IDOL as the judges continue their quest to find the next singing superstar.
Winter Wipeout | 8pm on ABC
“Family Tree”
Familial contestants play as duos on a brand new family version of Winter Wipeout. After facing a potentially hard fall, hitting all the limbs of the Frosty Family Tree, contestants must get one of the best combined times on the Qualifier to move on to Pain in the Ice. From there it’s a slippery slope on the Cold-Hearted Snake, where only two family teams will compete in the Wipeout Zone. Only one set of family members will walk away with a memory to share in next year’s Christmas card – a cool $50,000 and being named “Wipeout” Champions!
The Vampire Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“The Ties That Bind”
Bonnie believes her recurring dreams about Klaus’ coffins will tell her how he can be killed. The dreams also lead Bonnie to a reunion with her mother, Abby, whom Bonnie hasn’t seen for 15 years. At Abby’s remote farmhouse, Bonnie and Elena meet Jamie, the young man Abby took in years earlier. Bonnie’s sudden appearance catches Abby off-guard, but she does her best to explain the past. Tyler turns to an unexpected ally in his quest to regain his free will. Damon is intrigued by Alaric’s new friend, Dr. Fell, and Klaus continues his bitter negotiations with Stefan over control of the coffins containing his family members. “Second Wedding”
Rosa persuades Rob and Maggie to have a traditional wedding for the whole family, but Fernando tries talking Rob into calling off the event. Meanwhile, Hector begins planning a surprise bachelor party.

Faced with a tough new opponent, Leslie and Ben disagree on the content of her first campaign ad. Ron is very uncomfortable when Chris tries to befriend him, while Andy and April make a trip to the doctor.

“Auditions #1”
Television’s No. 1 series returns for its highly anticipated 11th season with brand new contestants, a superstar judging panel and the best and worst of auditions. Host Ryan Seacrest and judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler traveled across the country to Savannah, Aspen, Galveston, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Diego and St. Louis, where the good, the bad and the outrageous auditioned for their shot at stardom. This season promises to deliver the most talented group of singers yet and as always, it’s up to the viewers to root and vote for their favorite contestants, ultimately crowning the next AMERICAN IDOL.

“Hecking It Up”
With Indiana hosting the Super Bowl, Frankie is devastated when she hopes to land a plum assignment as an official volunteer and ends up with a less-than-stellar position. Meanwhile, the entire Heck household takes advantage of the Donahue’s new car while they are out of town, and a scary, close call with the car causes Sue to profess her true feelings to her new boyfriend, Matt.

“In The Room Where You Sleep”
Brooke discusses a new business venture with her father, as Julian stresses about his own investment. Quinn convinces Clay to get help, and Millie struggles to be honest with Mouth. Meanwhile, Chris Keller makes Alex an offer she may not be able to refuse, and Nathan volunteers to scout in Europe, leaving Dan with Haley and Jamie.
Whitney | 8pm on NBC
“Faking It”
Whitney and Lily begin to plan “the perfect” wedding, but Lily’s traditional vision for her big day takes Whitney by surprise and ends up causing a riff between the two friends. Meanwhile, Alex enlists Neal to help with some investor meetings so that he can pitch his next great website idea, but he panics when he thinks he might be a one hit wonder. Elsewhere, Roxanne and Mark decide to do a good deed by donating blood; however, this good deed might not turn out well for one of them.
Are You There, Chelsea? | 8:30pm on NBC
“Sloane’s Ex”
When Sloane’s old high school boyfriend Matt Gunn, shows up at the bar, Chelsea’s adolescent fantasies are awakened, and despite Sloane’s objections, Chelsea can’t resist the temptation to go out with him. Meanwhile, Rick tracks down his old girlfriend Nikki to reconnect and finds out she’s now engaged to someone else.

“The Casino Trip”
When George wins an all-expenses-paid trip to Atlantic City, he enlists Noah, Fred, Tom and Alex, and it turns into a getaway with the guys. During their trip they run into Steven Royce (who is supposed to be in Singapore), and they help Fred cope with his gambling problem. Meanwhile, Tessa tries to get some alone time with Scott Strauss.

And one player makes a shocking decision that stuns everyone before another contestant is sent packing following the weigh-in.

When Will tries to plan a special surprise for Emma, he enlists the glee club to help him sweep her off her feet. Meanwhile, Becky sets her sights on Artie, and Finn makes an announcement about his life plans after high school that surprises the glee club.

“Odd Couple Out”
When Vanessa finds out that she and Mike weren’t invited to a neighbor’s party, she blames Mike for not trying hard enough to be pleasant in social situations. Mike is willing to try and change his ways, so he agrees to accept a dinner invitation to the neighbor’s. Meanwhile, when the underage Eve accidentally dents Mandy’s car, they have to figure out a way to hide the damage from their parents.

“Should Old Acquaintance Be Forgot?”
Naomi, still reeling from her breakup with Austin, makes a faux pas in front of her boss; Dixon and Adrianna book a gig together; Silver’s new relationship progresses; and a distracted Annie throws a party that doesn’t go as planned.

Detective Rebecca Madsen and Alcatraz historian Doctor Diego Soto team up with a secret agency that is dedicated to finding and catching inmates from the infamous prison who went missing 50 years ago and are reappearing today. Then, when a sniper begins targeting young victims, the team is forced to retrace the steps of the past in order to solve this modern day mystery. [Have you seen Jorge Garcia’s teases for ALCATRAZ?]
The Bachelor | 8pm on ABC
“Episode 1603”
Ben returns to his hometown, San Francisco, with the 16 remaining gals and goes skiing with 11 of them. He takes another to City Hall, where they’re serenaded by singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson. There’s also a cocktail-party crasher, a woman who already knows Ben and wants to add her name to his list of romantic possibilities. The official bachelorettes are not amused. One woman faints and another breaks down in tears at the rose ceremony, and when it’s over, 13 have roses.

“The End of the Affair?”
Blair’s flashbacks reveal the fallout of her and Chuck’s car accident, which Nate realizes may have been caused by foul play. Meanwhile, Lily gets a private eye to locate Charlie; and Vera Wang makes an appearance at Blair’s bridal-dress fitting.

As everyone returns from holiday break, NBC’s new talent competition, “America’s Kidz Got Singing”, is a hit, but Jenna’s role as the judge everyone loves to hate causes Jack to question the show’s family value. Much to his chagrin, Tracy’s usual antics fail to aggravate Liz (Tina Fey), while Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) takes the day off to do his dream chores as he awaits the Rapture.

“The Crack in the Code”
A cryptic message penned in human blood is discovered at a national monument. As the Jeffersonian team embarks on a scavenger hunt to solve the case, they realize their tech-savvy suspect remains one step ahead of them. Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan search for the perfect home for their new family.
Winter Wipeout | 8pm on ABC
“Ice, Ice Baby”
In order for contestants to get their mittens on the cold, hard $50,000 grand prize, they must first face the Snowboard Half Pipe, as they try to defy gravity but find themselves falling to the ground like scintillating snowflakes. Next on the course, players receive a swift kick in the ski pants from the abominable Snow Boot, followed by a frosty trip to Avalanche Alley, where conditions are perfect for scattered flurries of Wipeouts. Only the final three players who can weather the chilly conditions on the course will make it to the Winter Wipeout Zone, where the race for the fastest time really heats things up.

“Our Town”
Although Caroline is in no mood to celebrate her 18th birthday, Elena, Bonnie and Matt surprise her with a small party in an unusual location. Damon and Stefan disagree on the best way to handle Klaus, and a reckless Stefan decides to test his theory by taking things to dangerous extremes. Bonnie is concerned when Elena tells her about Jeremy’s new plans. At a Founder’s meeting, Alaric once again runs into Dr. Fell, who is in the middle of an argument with her ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner. Tyler refuses to go along with Klaus’ latest demand, and is surprised when Klaus seems to accept his decision.

“Pilot”
After eloping in Las Vegas, Rob meets his wife’s large Mexican-American family for the first time and, after unsuccessfully attempting to fit into his new cultural surroundings, realizes he’s the odd man out in this tight-knit family.

Meanwhile, Lily and Neal move into their new apartment together, but Lily is nervous about being herself, specifically in the bathroom.

After attending Aunt Ginny’s funeral, Frankie begins to fear that the family is missing out on important life milestones and vows to begin celebrating all of them. Meanwhile, Axl accidentally eats Brick’s Indiana dough school map project and is tasked with creating a new one, and Sue discovers that one of the boys on the wrestling team has a crush on her.

“Know This, We’ve Noticed”
As Brooke and Julian begin to adjust to life with their new children, Haley and Nathan find themselves dealing with similar issues. Although they don’t know it yet, faces from the past threaten to interrupt plans for all their futures. Meanwhile, a mysterious problem arises for Clay and Quinn.

When Chelsea gets a D.U.I., she realizes she needs to make some big changes in her life, including moving closer to where she works – Jerry’s Ultimate Sports Bar. She and her best pal Olivia, discover an apartment in the same building as their colleague Rick – just blocks from the bar – and move in immediately with the quirky and good-natured Dee Dee. Meanwhile, Sloane, whose military husband is currently stationed overseas, is due to give birth any day and is not convinced she can count on the freewheeling Chelsea to be there for her at the delivery.

“Out in the Burbs”
When Tessa is asked to show new guy Josh Sherman (Dan Byrd) around school, she becomes convinced that he’s gay, when in fact he’s an undercover narcotics officer. Lisa becomes deeply infatuated with Josh, and Tessa inadvertly convinces Mr. Wolfe to make special announcement to the student body. Meanwhile George re-evaluates his relationship with Dallas.

“A Desperate Man”
When a Navy lieutenant commander is found dead in a building under construction, NCIS must search for a killer while dealing with interruptions from her distraught detective husband. Meanwhile, Ray’s return has Ziva thinking about her future.
The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Episode 2”
The stakes are high this week when representatives of each team bid on the percentage of weight they think their team will lose at the weigh-in. The highest bidder gets a five-pound advantage if they hit their number at weigh-in – or lose the advantage to the other team if they don’t hit their mark. “The Biggest Loser” nutritionist teaches the contestants how to shop for healthy food, and the black and red teams square off in a fast-paced challenge in which they have to turn an anchor wheel to retrieve puzzle pieces and then race against the clock to put the puzzle together. And later, the players get a sobering wake-up call when Dr. Huizenga reveals their real “inner ages,” before the weigh-in leads to another player going home.
Last Man Standing | 8pm on ABC
“Take Your Daughter to Work”
Mike is taken aback when he finds out that Ed – who has been an absentee dad – has hired his daughter, Gabriella (Jamie-Lynn Sigler), to replace him as the new marketing consultant of Outdoor Man. When Ed agrees with Mike that her youth-oriented proposals to re-brand the retail stores aren’t the way to go, she plays the Daddy card for all its worth. Also, Mike and Eve bring home a stray dog that Mandy thinks she’s allergic to.
Work It | 8:30pm on ABC
“Shake Your Money Maker”
When newly-employed Lee and Angel go out into the field as sales reps for the first time dressed as women, former salesman Lee is confident he’ll be successful while Angel is concerned his background as a mechanic will not serve him well. But when Angel’s flirtatious ways earn him sales while Lee constantly strikes out, Lee tries subtly to elicit advice from wife Connie on ways a woman can flirt with a man.

Jennifer Vargas, a teacher from Ventura, California, tests her knowledge against 10 opponents in a head-to-head trivia battle. If Vargas defeats five of the contestants, then she has the opportunity to walk away with the amount she has won up to this point — or press her luck and try for the $1,000,000 grand prize. However, one wrong answer from Vargas or one of her competitors and they will be dropped through the floor and eliminated.

The 18 remaining bachelorettes travel to the lush vineyards of Ben’s hometown of Sonoma, California. Two lucky women – Kacie B. and Courtney – will get romantic one-on-one dates, but will it further their chances of being Ben’s dream woman, or will they be sent home? The group date will give 12 bachelorettes an unusual opportunity to show Ben another side of their personalities as they audition and perform roles for a community theater production – written entirely by children. However, it doesn’t take long for the women to get under each other’s skin and ramp up the drama, ending in uncontrollable tears for some of the bachelorettes.

The weather outside is frightful, but the season premiere of Winter “Wipeout” is delightful, as 24 winter warriors battle head-to-head in a frigid free for all for $50,000. Players first take on the frost bitten qualifier with some brand new obstacles designed to lift spirits in more ways than one — Snow Shovel Trouble, Pain in the Ice and Candy Pain Lane, which boasts the ultimate sugar crash — and the obstacle built for all seasons, the classic Big Balls. As an added bonus, players who are able to knock off “Smallsy” from the fourth Big Ball will receive $500 cash. Cheerful contestants provide an avalanche of falls, shivering spills and bitter cold blunders, but only the final three who withstand the freezing temperatures with the fastest times will face the all-new, most challenging Winter Wipeout Zone ever.
