Shonda Rhimes Announces PRIVATE PRACTICE to End With Season 6

PRIVATE PRACTICE is coming to an end. While Kate Walsh (Addison) had already revealed her intention to leave after this season’s 13th episode, PRIVATE PRACTICE creator Shonda Rhimes announced today on Twitter that the series will be ending at that time, too. Read on for her full statement:

ABC has set a few midseason premiere dates — but unfortunately poor COUGAR TOWN is still waiting for an official home. SCANDAL, the new political soapy-drama from executive producer Shonda Rhimes, will debut Thursday, April 5 at 10 PM after GREY’S ANATOMY. (PRIVATE PRACTICE moves to Tuesday at 10 PM on April 24.)
