The following post contains info about the 4/5 episode, so if you haven’t seen it…well, you’ve been warned.
THANK YOU Rob Thomas and friends for by far the BEST episode of Veronica Mars since last year’s “Trip to the Dentist”. God, how are more people not watching this show?? I have to say this is the first episode all season where I was completely on the edge of my seat for the entire hour. Remind me again why Weevil isn’t on every freakin’ week? And let me just say this…I thought it was a fantastic episode even before the dance scene.
This episode really helped push all the storylines forward, and I find myself right back into it. I lost a little interest in the bus crash for a while. It just seemed so drawn out. But after tonight’s episode, there’s definitely a connection between the crash and Felix’s death…but who the hell is behind it all? Weevil? Logan? The Gutt? Fitzpatricks? Now I really want to know.
And what’s up with the Beav? So he doesn’t want to get it on with Mac? I don’t think VM is going for the obvious here…I think he’s straight – but there’s something definitely behind his reaction. What are you up to little Cassidy Casablancas?!
The other great thing about tonight episode…it was all about getting back to the basics, and by basics I mean Logan & Veronica. The chemistry between Kristin Bell and Jason Dohring is palpable. Their scenes have a crazy amount of energy, and it’s nice to see them getting along again. Oh and again, the scene at the dance…I was jumping out of my skin!!!! Rob Thomas you better not be teasing us with the LoVe connection because I know how to find you.
I’m sorry that I won’t be able to write a recap tonight. It’s past midnight here, and I’ve got to catch an early train to NYC in the early morning. So glad I didn’t wait until I got back tomorrow night to watch this episode though.
Yeah, I kind of loved the faux-shocker scene. Good call RT!! And I got a glimpse of the now infamous “I Love Dick” shirt in next week’s scenes…yes!!
Don’t forget that starting NEXT WEEK, Veronica Mars will be moving to Tuesdays at 9pm. Not like I won’t remind you, oh at least 30 times before then.
