Let’s hope that the folks over at The Office stop by GMMR today, and just stare at this beautiful picture and let their minds be filled with all the possibilities. See we LOVE Roy (as long as he’s not with Pam) and we love Karen (as long as she’s not with Jim). There’s this thing someone told me once, I can’t remember the exact saying but it was something about a stone and two birds. Just consider it, ok?

I could definitely get behing this pairing! 😉
I was at Sundance on Saturday and saw David. I didn’t speak to him as he was rushing through a press line to get into some swanky VIP party, but he was looking good! I also caught a glimpse of Scott Speedman (looking mighty fine also!), Katherine Heigl, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Puff Daddy/P Diddy/Sean Combs/whatever he’s calling himself today, Tara Reid, etc. going into the same party. It was a busy night!
I was there to see Smiley Face and Mr. John Krasinski was hilarious in the film! He played a huge geek in love with a stoner…too funny! I almost didn’t recognize him when he first came on screen because he had on a ridiculous wig and glasses, but he was still as cute as ever. UnfortunatelyI didn’t see him at the screening which was such a disappointment! 🙁
I’m off to see David’s movie tomorrow night. Hopefully he’ll make an appearance and I’ll get a chance to speak to him…keeping my fingers crossed!

I agree with Jacki, he looks freakishly tall next to her…and I may be wrong, but I don’t think she’s short. He doesn’t seem that tall on the show. Hmm.
I’m ALL FOR this pairing. Roy+Karen, Pam+Jim = everyone’s happy.
I second what the others have said – great photo, and AWESOME idea to have Roy & Karen pair up! 🙂 But my first thought when I saw the photo wasn’t that he looks huge, it was that she looks tiny – but obviously it works both ways. Makes me wonder, How tall ARE they? But YES, thanks for posting this!!!
Yes. YES. Greg Daniels, make it happen. That picture is adorable.
She is 5’4″ and he is 6’4″, so he is quite a bit taller than her. I think he doesn’t seem so much taller on the show because they are rarely in scenes together, especially standing that close together.
I do like the idea of Roy and Karen. Hopefully they will keep her around. At first, I was certain I would hate her, but I actually like her.

Jackie – that was my first reaction too, she looks so tiny next to him.
So does that mean that David is taller than John, I read somwhere that John is 6’3″? She doesn’t look so tiny next to him and it’s only a 1″ difference. Maybe that’s becuase he is so thin.
Dear Writers/Producers of The Office,
Please listen to GMMR and put Karen and Roy together so you can finally finally PUT JAM TOGETHER. This is getting a little beyond ridiculous, don’t you think? You’ve stretched this thing out long enough, and it’s time to put an end to Jim and Pam’s misery, and the audience’s misery as well.
Fact: Jim and Pam together, under any circumstances, equals awesome chemistry and great fun, as evidenced in “The Return” last week.
Fact: Jim and Pam apart, with no interaction, equals misery and frustration.
Not every show is Moonlighting! Jim and Pam have a much stronger chemistry than those two characters. So please, trust your skills as writers and PUT JIM AND PAM TOGETHER ALREADY.

Awesome point! And Karen did tell Pam that she thought Roy was cute (of course, that was to encourage Pam to go after Roy, but still…)

ummm OMG! i’ve been hearing that John has a shirtless shower scene in Smiley Face?!?! please confirm this is true!
Ok, ok, yes, John IS shirtless and in the shower! He’s got a nice chest and he looked good (like that’s a surprise). And um, that’s all I’m going to say about that scene. 😉
He had a pretty big part in the movie and I thought his character was hilarious…in a sad, geeky sorta way. What else…his name is Brevin Erickson, he wore these brown cords that were hiked up a little too high, a tucked in polo shirt, and a belt to tie the outfit all together. He drove a Saturn, his wallet was too thick to keep in his back pocket while he was driving because “it hurts my butt” even though he only had $6 in it (I think). And he enjoys going to the dentist.
The movie was just bizarre and had a lot of quirky moments that would take several viewing to remember, but there’s a few of them for you. 🙂

Nope, no kissing at all in the movie. Anna Faris’ character didn’t want any of that with poor Brevin. Stupid girl! 🙁

HAHA I am TOTALLY down with making this happen.
And yes to Lauren at 5:50…I not only jumped out of my seat but made a high-pitched squeaking noise that I’m sure was quite unsettling to the rest of the theater.
It’s so annoying because no matter how hard i try, i still like Karen…
So does anyone know when Smiley Face is supposed to hit theaters? I don’t know how long I can wait for that shower scene ;o)
I love the pairing !At the beginning of this season I threw out this Roy and Karen theory to a certin sista of mine (she shall remain nameless). At that time I believe her response was something like-well I don’t know about (paraphrasing). Do you remember this conversation? I think we agreed that it sounded a little “soapy”. Maybe I was onto something HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I was at Sundance too trying to get tixs for Smiley Face – but here is what happened to me (was JK really not there???) I heard that he was – PLEASE tell me!!
So here’s the story: I went to Sundance over the weekend (from TX) and found out that Smiley Face was premiering there. I didn’t have tixs, so I decided (with my wonderful hubby) to do the “wait list” thing they have and get a number to try to get in. I was #45 and the husband was #46 – borderline good/bad number. After waiting for about 4 hrs – they let 15 of us go at a time – which of course split me and the hubby. Since I heart JK – he said to go on and go. I went into the bldg and they were letting 2 or 3 go into the movie at a time. While I was third to go, we got a message that the theatre was at capacity, so I couldnt get in. JK was there!!! I am still a little bummed out about it esp cause people totally cut in front of us to get a better number…..anyways that’s my story:(
