9-1-1: LONE STAR: A Storm is Just the Start of the Drama in New Season 4 Promo

9-1-1: LONE STAR’s fourth season kicks off on Tuesday, January 17 (at 8/7c), with the weather bringing a whole lot of trouble for the 126.

According to Fox, in the premiere “The New Hotness,” “Captains Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) and Tommy Vega (Gina Torres) along with the members of the 126 firehouse are called into action to a county fair when a “Derecho,” a series of fast-moving group of severe thunderstorms hit Austin, causing hurricanic and tornadic-force winds, heavy rains, flash floods and a wide path of destruction. And just when they think it couldn’t get worse, an even more rare weather phenomenon, a “Heat Burst,” causing temperatures to go up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, hits the city.”
