ABC has picked up many of its remaining shows. Among those that scored the nod for next season: CASTLE, NASHVILLE, MODERN FAMILY, GALAVANT, AGENTS OF SHIELD, AGENT CARTER, AMERICAN CRIME, SECRETS AND LIES, BLACK-ISH, FRESH OFF THE BOAT, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, GREY’S ANATOMY, SCANDAL, THE GOLDBERGS, and THE MIDDLE.
As of now, only LAST MAN STANDING remains up in the air.

One of the best parts about the Upfronts is we traditionally get our first looks at the new shows that will be populating our television screens during the upcoming season.
Of course, the trailers aren’t always an indication of how the show will turn out — great shows have had terrible trailers, and terrible shows have looked significantly better thanks to a great trailer. But for now, there are a few trailers I’m obsessing over for the new television season.

ABC is bringing Timothy Hutton and Felicity Huffman back to our televisions in the new drama, AMERICAN CRIME, and it seems like it’s going to be a dark series: a couple is attacked in their home, and it stirs up racial tension in the community. (And it has massive prestige behind-the-scenes, too: it comes from 12 YEARS A SLAVE’s John Ridley.)

In addition to ABC’s new Marvel project, AGENT CARTER, and the new Shonda Rhimes-produced series, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, the network announced six other pickups for the 2014-2015 season.
Here are the new shows to expect on ABC next season:
