Comments Off on AMERICAN DAD: TBS Orders Two More Seasons
The Smith family is sticking around.
TBS has renewed AMERICAN DAD for two seasons, the network announced. The order — for 44 episodes — will bring the show to its 13th season, and will keep the animated comedy on the air until at least 2018.
“AMERICAN DAD! has thrived since coming to TBS and Adult Swim, demonstrating the Turner portfolio’s ability to build enduring hits through a combination of smart programming, savvy promotion and extensive multiplatform distribution,” said Deborah Bradley, executive vice president of networks optimization and content commercialization for Turner Broadcasting, in a statement. “We look forward to keeping the crazy-but-lovable Smith family around for a long time.”
Season 11 of AMERICAN DAD is set to bow in early 2016.
