Comments Off on ARROW: Emily Bett Rickards and Brandon Routh Preview Ray’s Return

At the end of the last episode, Felicity finally heard the entirety of Ray’s “final” message to her — which said he was actually alive — and in tonight’s hour the team sets out to save him.

Comments Off on ARROW: Stephen Amell on Matt Ryan’s Guest Spot as Constantine
ARROW is no stranger to crossing over with other DC/The CW shows — the series has served as the launching pad/frequent crossover partner for THE FLASH, and it’s now helping to set the stage for the upcoming LEGENDS OF TOMORROW — but in tonight’s episode, it’s doing something new: crossing over with DC/NBC’s departed series, CONSTANTINE.
John Constantine’s magical knowledge will also prove to be vital — with Sara alive and soulless, Constantine might be the only one who can help put her back together.
Stephen Amell (Oliver) spoke with reporters on the show’s Vancouver set about working with CONSTANTINE’s Matt Ryan on the episode… Read more

CONSTANTINE’s Matt Ryan to Guest Star on ARROW

Comments Off on CONSTANTINE’s Matt Ryan to Guest Star on ARROW
ARROW and CONSTANTINE will have a crossover this fall as Matt Ryan is reprise his role of John Constantine on The CW drama.
CONSTANTINE was canceled after one season this May, but since the show falls into the DC universe, things worked out to bring his character to ARROW.
UPDATE: Per CW, Ryan will appear in episode 5, “Haunted,” and “John Constantine is a weather worn exorcist and expert on the supernatural and the occult. He is a detective, magician, and a hunter of demons, and will provide critical support to Oliver (Stephen Amell) when arrows aren’t enough.
EP Marc Guggenheim says:
“We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of Arrow. Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved character was always something we admired. The introduction of magic and mysticism on the show this season has provided a truly organic opportunity for us to bring John Constantine to Arrow and the CW’s DC universe. It will be a well-deserved tip of the hat to all the Constantine fans who were so incredibly supportive of that series.””
Details are still being kept on the DL, but are you excited to see Constantine on ARROW?

Comments Off on ARROW: John Barrowman Weighs in on Malcolm’s Potential Role in Sara’s Resurrection
ARROW’s Malcolm was instrumental in Sara’s death in the show’s third season, and if John Barrowman (Malcolm) has a choice in the matter, he’ll also be key to her upcoming resurrection. (Sara — and her portrayer, Caity Lotz — are a key component to the ARROW/FLASH spinoff, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.)
“We know she is alive — will be back — obviously, because of LEGENDS [OF TOMORROW],” Barrowman told reporters in the video below. “How’s she’s brought back to life, that will be the interesting part. I’d like to think Malcolm has a little bit of hand in bringing her back.”
Check out the video for more from Barrowman on Malcolm’s possible role in Sara’s new fate, plus Barrowman showcased his (amazing) replica of Ra’s’ ring….
