BROOKLYN NINE-NINE Team on Their Revival

Sometimes, there’s no keeping a good show down.
BROOKLYN NINE-NINE was canceled in May by Fox—as the network purged their live-action comedies—and social media exploded. Cut to two days later, the news broke that NBC had saved the beloved series. (NBC Universal produces the comedy.)
Now, the show is back and things are a bit different: the comedy is the same (the first two episodes are fantastic), but they’re allowed to do things like curse, with a bleep, and blur things…something they weren’t able to do on their previous network.
BROOKLYN NINE-NINE executive producer Dan Goor and series stars Andy Samberg (Jake), Andre Braugher (Holt), Melissa Fumero (Amy), Terry Crews (Terry), Chelsea Peretti (Gina), Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa), Joe Lo Truglio (Boyle), Dirk Blocker (Hitchcock), and Joel McKinnon Miller (Scully) spoke with reporters about the changes they’ve felt since they moved networks… Read more

Honestly, I don’t know how people who don’t do this as a career survive Sunday nights. I had nine shows I watched on Sunday night, and there are still a few I have to catch up on/I had screeners for about half of these. These are high-class problems, but man, what a huge amount of TV for us to discuss.
Let’s get to it, with an extra warning that there are spoilers in here — between a finale and a big unannounced cameo on a certain Fox comedy, there are spoilers in here for a good number of Sunday shows…
GMMR TV Awards: The Winners Revealed!
June 30, 2014 by Marisa Roffman

After weeks of nominations and voting, you have determined who should take home the fourth annual Give Me My Remote TV Awards!
Before we get to the winners, I want thank everyone who participated in our annual contest. Without your nominations and votes, it would just simply be me saying what I loved the most, and what fun is that? (And in case you think your vote might not have made a difference, while most winners won by hundreds — or thousands — of votes, one category was won by TWO votes.)
Which also means this is a good time to remind you that these winners are 100% decided by you, the Give Me My Remote readers, and some fan bases came out in droves (and mounted really impressive campaigns). So if you’re delighted by the winners, yay! I’m so happy to hear that. And if you’re disappointed, a) sorry, and b) hopefully you’re satisfied with at least one category.
