BIG SKY - “Pilot” – While on a road trip to visit her boyfriend in Montana, Danielle Sullivan and her sister Grace are kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote part of the highway, setting off a chain of events that leads private detectives Cody Hoyt and Cassie Dewell to team up with Cody’s estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for the sisters. But when the investigators discover these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, it’s clear they’ve stumbled onto something much bigger than them all on the series premiere of “Big Sky,” TUESDAY, NOV. 17 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. David E. Kelley is returning to network television with the new ABC thriller BIG SKY.
In the drama, inspired by C.J. Box’s book series, two sisters go missing while on a road trip. To try and solve the case, private detectives Cody Hoyt (Ryan Phillippe) and Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) work with Cody’s (maybe) estranged wife, Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick) to figure out what’s going on.

ABC’s sole new drama this fall is the David E. Kelley thriller BIG SKY (inspired by C.J. Box’s book series).
According to the network, “Private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. But when they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken.” The series stars Kylie Bunbury as Cassie Dewell, Ryan Phillippe as Cody Hoyt, and Katheryn Winnick as Jenny Hoyt.
