BONES’ Tamara Taylor Teases Booth’s Premiere Disappearance: ‘It’s Not Looking Good’

When BONES returns for its eleventh season premiere in five weeks, one key member of the team will be MIA: Booth — who, along with Brennan, left DC to get a fresh start at the end of season 10 — has completely vanished.
“The season opener hits pretty hard; [Booth]’s disappeared,” BONES star Tamara Taylor (Cam) teased. “The entire gang is besides themselves. Needless to say Dr. Brennan is a mess. It’s all about finding out what happened to him, where he is, and what he’s into. It’s not looking good.”
Complicating matters is the fact that Booth had a gambling relapse before he left DC.

Betty White will guest star in an episode of BONES, a rep for the show has confirmed.
White will play, Dr. Beth Mayer, “an accomplished, sharp as a tack, absolutely fabulous squintern who is brought in to assist in a murder linked to fantasy football — which just happens to be one of her many areas of expertise!” (Um, who can’t wait to see Betty freaking White talking about fantasy football.)
But not everyone will be happy to see her. Dr. Mayer has “a half century of work under her belt,” which makes her “without a doubt the world’s most experienced forensic anthropologist, which will lead to some serious competition with Dr. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to prove who is the more brilliant scientist!”
The casting news was first broken by White herself on Twitter.
Wanted to let you know first that I will be joining the @BONESonFOX family for an upcoming episode this fall! #Bones

White is the second big name guest star for the upcoming eleventh season of BONES: Kim Raver will be appearing in the two-part season premiere as an agent who is helping the team find a missing Booth.
BONES returns Thursday, October 1st at 8 PM on Fox.

It’s official: Fox’s BONES and SLEEPY HOLLOW will cross over on Thursday, October 29th.
So how the heck is this going to work? The network released episode teases for both hours: “On BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), the grisly discovery of human remains lead Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) on a hunt for clues, during which they encounter Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie), searching for answers of their own. Realizing that they are after the same evidence, they team up to solve the mystery. Then, immediately following on SLEEPY HOLLOW (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), the intrigue continues as Ichabod’s old nemesis is back from the dead. Ichabod and Abbie need advanced forensic help and expertise to stop him and turn to Brennan and Booth to unlock 18th century secrets using 21st century science.”

The mystery of how BONES is going to work Booth and Brennan back to the Jeffersonian/FBI has taken an intriguing twist: 24 star Kim Raver has been cast as FBI Special Agent Grace Miller — who is involved in “the investigation surrounding the disappearance of FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth.” Raver will appear in the first two episodes of the season.
It seems Booth and Brennan’s life away from DC has taken a twist. The duo left their home at the end of season 10 for a fresh start (of sorts), with a new baby on the way, and newly reconciled after Booth’s gambling addiction relapse.

BONES and SLEEPY HOLLOW’s crossover will be a fall event. According to EW.com, the crossover between the two Fox dramas will air on Thursday, October 29th. (Reps for both shows did not respond to a request for comment.)
BONES writer Emily Silver recently hinted something special was coming to the show during the Hallowen period: she tweeted to a fan in late July, “Smile! The #bones writers are busy breaking a VERY SPECIAL episode! #HappyHalloween (hint!hint!)”
If this crossover is Halloween-related, what do you hope to see?
