When CHICAGO FIRE ended its 2020 run, Brett (Kara Killmer) and Casey (Jesse Spencer) finally took a step forward in their relationship, sharing a kiss—until Brett brought up the figurative elephant in the room (AKA Casey’s former wife/Brett’s long-time friend, Gabby).
Brett asked her potential-beau whether he’d go if Gabby (Monica Raymund) asked him to leave Chicago with her; while he initially tried to dodge the question, he ultimately admitted he didn’t know…prompting Brett to put the brakes on their fledgling romance.
