CHICAGO P.D. Cast, Showrunner Tease ‘New Normal,’ the Arrival of Anne Heche

CHICAGO P.D.’s Voight (Jason Beghe) finds himself backed into a corner when the series returns for its sixth season.

At first, Voight is given a break from work (which causes mayhem in District 21). But the biggest obstacle could be the mysterious Katherine Brennan (Anne Heche) who has a very particular agenda when it comes to the commander.

CHICAGO P.D.: LaRoyce Hawkins and Marina Squerciati Show Off the Real—and Reel—Elements of the 21st District

When CHICAGO P.D. stars LaRoyce Hawkins (Atwater) and Marina Squerciati (Burgess) gave reporters a tour of their sets, they mad more than a little fun with it.

The duo showed off their desks and—along with Brian Luce (police technical advisor/associate producer) and Gregory Van Horn (production designer)—elements of the precinct that are true to the real ones (and others they’ve taken their own liberty with), including secrets of the two-way mirror (like in the photo above), and more.

CHICAGO P.D. Season 6 Premiere: ‘New Normal’ Photos

CHICAGO P.D. is adding a new foil for Voight (Jason Beghe) in season 6: Anne Heche‘s Katherine Brennan.

If that isn’t enough, the squad also has to deal with Olinsky’s funeral, and the grief/complications that arise from that.

NBC Sets Fall 2018 Premiere Dates

Premieres kick off the week of September 24th (with THE VOICE and new drama MANIFEST), while THE GOOD PLACE and LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT get supersized premieres.

NBC Cancels IRONSIDE and WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, Sets COMMUNITY and CHICAGO P.D. Premieres

NBC has given out some good news and some bad news: COMMUNITY and CHICAGO P.D. have gotten premiere dates, but the network has opted to cancel IRONSIDE and WELCOME TO THE FAMILY.

COMMUNITY will bow on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 8 PM. (PARKS AND RECREATION will make the move to 8:30 PM.) CHICAGO P.D. will fill IRONSIDE’s Wednesday at 10 PM slot starting on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
