Though CHICAGO FIRE had more than one deeply traumatic twist during the first part of season 11, there was one unexpected delight: the frequent pop-ins from CHICAGO P.D.’s Trudy Platt (played by Amy Morton).

And while Trudy and FIRE’s Mouch (Christian Stolte) have been married for years—and Morton has appeared in over 30 episodes of FIRE—her scenes this season have served as one of the consistently lighter throughlines.
