But the creative teams behind the dramas—as well Elliot Wolf, representing the upcoming Prime Video series ON CALL—reunited (and united) outside of the Universal lot for an important reason: To show their support for the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

“A few of us writers from the Dick Wolf show got together and decided to do a reunion picket,” Christina Piña, who wrote on LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME season 3, as well as serving as a WGA captain at the Universal lot, tells Give Me My Remote. “We all know each other, we’re all friends, we all hang out. The Fugitive Task Force gets a new leader on the Tuesday, April 12 episode of FBI: MOST WANTED, as Dylan McDemott’s Remy Scott joins the elite squad.

“Dylan brings a completely new feel to the team, in all the best ways,” executive producer David Hudgins told reporters. “We’ve had a blast writing for him. I’ve had a blast looking at his work, working with him on the character…I just think he brings such a new energy to the show, and I think the audience is really gonna respond to it. And we’re happy as hell to have him.”

In the aftermath of Jess’ (Julian McMahon) death on FBI: MOST WANTED, the Fugitive Task Force is once again being shaken up.

During the show’s first three seasons, the close-knit team has had a number of shakeups as Clinton (Nathaniel Arcand) left, Crosby (Kellan Lutz) was injured and unable to continue working, and Hana (Keisha Castle-Hughes)—who remains with the show—briefly left to accommodate Castle-Hughes’ real-life maternity leave. In recent years, they’ve also added on Ortiz (Miguel Gomez) and Kristin (Alexa Davalos).

FBI: MOST WANTED wraps up its second season as the team heads to Tennessee to try and figure out whether an undercover DEA agent has flipped in the midst of their assignment.
