DEADBEAT: Hulu Renews Tyler Labine Series for Season 3

DEADBEAT will return for a third season, Hulu announced.

The series follows a medium (Tyler Labine’s Kevin), who attempts to bring peace to ghosts. (SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE’s Cat Deeley plays his deliciously evil rival, Camomile.)

“DEADBEAT is a uniquely imaginative and charming series,” said Craig Erwich, Senior Vice President and Head of Content, Hulu, in a statement. “We are very happy to bring it back for another hilarious season and look forward to sharing new ghostly stories.”

The third season will be 13 episodes.

DEADBEAT Season 2: Hulu Sets Premiere Date, Announces Guest Stars

DEADBEAT season 2 will launch on April 20th, Hulu announced.

Additionally, the online series has added Danny DeVito, Fred Armisen, Michael Ian Black, Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Norton, Zach Levi, Finn Wittrock, and (future Hulu star) James Franco as guest stars.

Hulu Debuts New Original Series, DEADBEAT, Today

Hulu debuted their newest original series, DEADBEAT, today, and the good news is you can watch the first two episodes now on Hulu.com — or if you have Hulu Plus, you can watch the entire series. (Additional episodes will be released each week for regular Hulu viewers.)

So, what is DEADBEAT?

According to the official description, “Kevin Pacalioglu (series star Tyler Labine) may have no money and no clue, but he can see dead people, so that’s pretty cool. Faced with a constant stream of stubborn spirits, Pac goes to whatever lengths require the least amount of effort to help New York City’s most frivolous ghosts finish their unfinished business.” The series also stars SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE host Cat Deeley, as Kevin’s rival. (And she’s fantastic in the role.)
