DICKINSON season 2 will return on Friday, January 8, 2021, Apple TV+ announced.

The Hailee Steinfeld-led series has also scored an early season 3 renewal. The show, which was created by Alena Smith, also stars Jane Krakowski, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, Toby Huss, Adrian Blake Enscoe, and Wiz Khalifa. Season 2 includes Nick Kroll as Edgar Allan Poe, Timothy Simons as Frederick Law Olmstead, Ayo Edebiri as Hattie, Will Pullen as Nobody, Finn Jones as Sam Bowles, and Pico Alexander as Ship.

Hailee Steinfeld is stepping into Emily Dickinson‘s shoes…with a twist.

In the new Apple TV+ series, DICKINSON “is a coming-of-age story that finds Emily Dickinson to be an unexpected hero for our millennial era.” With the series is set in in the 19th century, when the real Dickinson lived, the poet struggles against “the constraints of society, gender and family.”

The series, which is set to debut this fall, also stars Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, and Adrian Blake Enscoe.
