THE SIMPSONS – Freeform welcomes the Simpson family as America’s longest-running sitcom will begin to air on the network starting this September. Viewers will be able to enjoy episodes from all 30 seasons of the dysfunctional and hilarious adventures of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and the array of quirky supporting characters living in the misfit city of Springfield. Currently in its 30th season, “The Simpsons” is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Matt Groening and developed by James L. Ty Burrell will be pulling double duty in the 2019-2020 season: in addition to the final season of MODERN FAMILY, the actor has joined the voice cast of Fox’s new series DUNCANVILLE.
Burrell will voice Jack, Duncan’s father. Per Fox, Jack is “a classic-rock-obsessed plumber who’s determined to be a better dad than the one he had. He’s constantly posting wonderful things about his family on Facebook and annoyed that his kids won’t friend him.”

Fox has ordered a new animated comedy, DUNCANVILLE, from executive producers Amy Poehler and Mike and Julie Scully.
Per Fox, “the series centers on the life of Duncan, a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy, his family and friends. Poehler will provide the voice of Duncan and his high-strung mom, Annie, who is constantly trying to prevent her son from ruining his life.” The series also stars Rashida Jones and Wiz Khalifa.
