The music is about to come to an end for EMPIRE: Fox confirms the show will end with its upcoming sixth season.
Fox is embracing the fun and buzz a pre-announced ending provides. “You allow the fans to lean in and have the ending they deserve,” Fox boss Charlie Collier said during a conference call with reporters.
It’ll be a big final season for the series, though, as the drama will celebrate its 100th episode before it ends. (The series will also move to Tuesdays at 9/8c.)
