Taylor Swift Sings FRIENDS’ ‘Smelly Cat’ with Lisa Kudrow

Taylor Swift has been bringing out surprise celebrity guests for many of her shows, but for TV nerds, nothing may top her guest on Wednesday night: Lisa Kudrow.
And though Swift has brought out TV actors in the past (Chris Rock and Kudrow’s FRIENDS co-star Matt LeBlanc were guests at an earlier Los Angeles show), this time she had Kudrow join her for a duet of the FRIENDS classic song, “Smelly Cat.”
(For non-FRIENDS fans: “Smelly Cat” was a song Kudrow’s character Phoebe wrote that popped up several times during the NBC comedy’s run — though, technically, viewers also learned that Phoebe’s biological father sang a similar sounding song to his daughter when she was very young.)
And, really, to see a live performance of “Smelly Cat” is pretty freaking great…

Comments Off on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS: Matt LeBlanc’s Dr. Drake Ramoray Cameos in ‘Distinguished Guests’
Matt LeBlanc appeared on Thursday night’s episode of LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS, and before his interview, he paid a little homage to his time on FRIENDS — he cameoed as Dr. Drake Ramoray (Joey’s DAYS OF OUR LIVES CHARACTER) in Meyers’ regular segment, “Distinguished Guests.”
Miss the spot? Check it out…
Personally, I never want a FRIENDS full-on revival, but I love that the actors often appear on each other’s shows and do things like this.
Did you like Dr. Drake Ramoray’s appearance on LATE NIGHT?

Which Current TV Stars Appeared on FRIENDS?
January 2, 2015 by Marisa Roffman
The entire series of FRIENDS just hit Netflix — not to mention you can catch reruns nonstop on multiple channels — and while the show’s stars (Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer) are well-known (and several have their own shows now), a lot of current television stars appeared on the NBC comedy back in the day. (No, seriously, there are 62 of them who appeared on FRIENDS. It’s kind of insane.)
Need an (alphabetical) refresher? Check it out…
